Hi DevelLevel!
Very promising ROM.
But unfortunately, after encryptiing , the phone gets stuck in bootloop.
Any chance to fix that?

The ROM looks good but I have a kernel panic if I launch a web browser (DuckDuckgo or FOSS browser) or other app requiring internet access (nextcloud for example)
Did I miss something?

Edit: I found workaround (Brave browser works and I was able to login to nextcloud using the not app) Now let's play with this ROM. Thanks!

I will see what I can do, but I believe it is hard too solve...
You'll need to format data to get you device working again!

Nice that you solved it (kind of...) But it is a strange issue, I have no problems with internet access... Have you tried a clean install?

Sorry for the long silence... The issue is with Duckduckgo browser, same for FOSS browser (these two are very similar app. Brave browser is built on Chrome I think and just works). The device crashes if I launch the browser. I use microg, no google play service.
Other than that, everything is perfect!

Ok,
I can succesfully use DuckDuckGo brower so the issue might be on your side (you could try a clean flash) otherwise it is probably "Google Play Services" related, I got Open Gapps installed.

I'm pretty sure this related to G play services. It happened on a clean install and I even reinstalled and it happened again. I can live with it. Thanks for the ROM!

Hi,
I don't know what kernel and device trees you were using but these are common issue when trying to build ROMs...
You could try by switching /system/bt with LineageOS /system/bt this might help, but it is not a permanent fix!
I don't got much experience in this area either and sadly I don't own this device... But I wish you luck, the hardest part is often to get the build to boot

This ROM is using the same camera blobs as LineageOS 18.x and HavocOS 4.x, and should yield the same experience.

Thank you! This is first time I attempted to install a custom ROM and so far everything that suppose to work works fine apart from GPS It takes forever to acquire the lock.

I found some old threads those say that gps.conf found in the android sources is unreliable and needs to be modified. Or depending on location one needs to adjust NTP_SERVER.

Is this the case, or am I missing something?

The issue you are talking about has, as you said, been reported by other users. Both on Lineage based and AOSP based ROMs. The strange part is that I haven't had any issues like this, and it seems like @Berni-0815 hasn't either. (I have never touched the gps.conf file or tried to adjust the NTP_SERVER). The only issue that I had with GPS was when I tried to use google maps without google services installed. What app did you try to use, and if it's relying on google, do you have google services installed?

It happens in all apps that rely on GPS. I also installed gapps from https://opengapps.org/, that does not make any difference. The GPSTest from F-Droid takes about 2-5 minutes to report coordinates. And sometimes even that fails...
