u will have to show us a screen shot or explain better cause your the first to have some kind of issue with sim or something also u didnt say v 1 or v 2 what u were using. as well if it was the issue clsa pointed out please get back to us and let us know ty

Thanks for replying guys. I installed V2 and my screen looks like the thumbnail pics on the first post as far as the sim goes. just a question mark. The shortcut was grayed out so I could not access it. Everything else seemed to work fine. It is a really nice Rom. I did get a bit impatient and installed the NEXUS XT
and that one works great so far.

i probly gonna put stock dailer back but leave the new one for those who wanna use it compared to stock does v 1 work? if so then its just the stock dialer missing and it caused some issues

yea til i can figure out why the stock dailer needs to be there i will leave it but all other apps etc are same

without tampering with bootloader itself atm not sure. or secondary boot loader i will look into it later i was wondering the same myself lol

Didn't find it in the new dialer. The option to choose if cellular preferred or wifi preferred, comes in handy when you loose cellular signal. Thanks.

Madvane20, by using Nova launcher, i'm able to make the icon smaller now with message notifier display on any unread email/text.
I have NO problem at all on V2 ROM that that download last week, working great as I have NO complaint at.

Is there a way to allow your ROM to change the icons size, message notifier so we don't have to install Nova launcher?
Since i'm using Cricket network on this phone, the phone won't allow me to turn it to WiFi hot spot, do I have to any setting change or it's limit on this phone?

hotspot should work no matter the carrier did u install the rom then download updates or did u install then restore data cause part of the rom uses data partition. which has nova launcher etc on it. as for hotspot it should work i already removed the file that would block it. post screen shot as well answer if u did install and then installed ur apps or if u installed then restored data after the install. cause nova launcher was preinstalled. did u do all the steps?

Ok rom is working perfectly, about the hotspot thing I don't have any issues. Btw i want to know what your hotspot says or do that doesn't let you turn it on or work. Just in case, make sure you have cust with the necessary files.

Excellent! I've been trying to compare the differences after you responded to my question in the other thread. This is where I think I will start with slim v2.

Overall I love my Nexus 6p vanilla and strive to be close to that as possible while its being repaired. Once I get it back, my mom will get this phone. I am thinking slim is ideal. All she uses is gmail, chrome, facebook, FB messenger, ebay, paypal, and youtube really.

I , on the other hand, use a few more things like Waze, Discord, Pokemon Go, Steam, Starbucks, Reddit Is Fun, 3 Playstation Apps, Google Wallet, Android Pay, Yahoo Mail, My Fitness Pal, Twitch, Google Maps, Snapchat, Amazon App Store (Accuweather Platinum and Alarm Clock Xtreme within it), Untappd, Target, Cartwheel (Target), CVS, and SlickDeals

I prefer google gboard for keyboard.
I prefer google Android Messages program for texting.
I prefer google calendar over the Huawei one.
I prefer Google Photos (enjoy the auto backup feature), Ill have to try the gallery one you recommend.
I have Nova Launcher Prime purchased, not sure how that works with the version you have preinstalled.

Theme wise, I just prefer to go black/dark as much as possible.

just uninstall what u dont want install what u want to be on there. as for calendar im still working on trying remove huawei crap and replace with vanilla apps
