i mean i can add apps and delete huawei in time but is no longer slim rom. i can make a new mega rom with these features
I am fine keep slim slimmed and I doubt many people want all those apps I use in the mega one.

I just wanted to provide you some feedback, realizing that you wouldn't use/implement it all. I am fine to just install what I need.

Again, I love a black/dark theme that's not flashy. :)

I am reading up now on how to install this unrooted slaim v2....

I have a few questions maybe someone could help me with.

I'm starting with a "virgin" phone, right out of the box, nothing having been done to it yet.

If I understand correctly this ROM can be installed right on top of the B130 that I will have on a fresh phone.

I believe my first step should be to unlock the bootloader.

Next, do I need to root it or can I just install TWRP, do a stock backup and move straight to installing this rooted ROM?

Lastly, once I get this ROM installed I will have a fully rooted B160 phone, correct?

Seeing that I will have a B160 updated phone after this ROM I could if I wanted to then install any other ROM which needed me to start with a B160 phone, correct?

(A side question, can I uninstall the Nova you put in the ROM to install an updated copy of Nova Prime instead?)

Thank you for the help.

I can't get this rom to install from reason. When I get to the Aroma installer it shows the install progress bar at the bottom of the screen for two seconds and says it finished. This is taken from the install log

Oh sorry, its v2 unroot and my data partition is not encrypted. What i did was wipe system, dalvik, cache and data and then tried to install. So i tried reboot back into recovery and installing again, but it gives the same error

Thank you for your answer.

If I may ask, could you please expand on this?

I originally asked a few questions and your answer could be taken more than one way.

First, can I install this ROM, v2, right over a fresh phone that is on B130? And if so will I end up with a phone that is updated to B160?

Do I need to BOTH unlock bootloader and root first or just unlock bootloader and have TWRP installed?

I understand that I need TWRP to install the ROM but do I need to root before installing this ROM? I believe that this ROM will install itself "rooted".

I hope you can understand that this is a bit ambiguous to me.

Again THANK YOU for the help.

well try the rooted ones i removed unrooted since safetynet detects unlocked bootloaders so no point of non rooted roms. just install v1 or 2 and u should be fine yes it updates firmware and installs the rom so u will be good to go

I can happily report that I only needed to unlock the bootloader and install TWRP, rooting was not needed, and this ROM installed perfectly.

From what I've read, this is a far easier way to update a phone to B160 than the ways I saw posted elsewhere. Almost a single step and you're updated to B160.

If I was the maker of this ROM I would put the fact that it so easily updates a phone to B160 top and center of the first post of this thread.

Again thank you for all your help.

Evidently you haven't been keeping up ;) ... I posted the All in One Flash firmware update back in February

u talking bout wiping the partitions on twrp or u talking bout try to wipe all partitions cause twrp is safe with the options in there and try fastboot boot the twrp instead of flash it let me kinow if it detects ur sd card its what i had to do with one of my cards to get it to work everytime so i had to use a different one. also u dont wanna wipe the partitions if u cant restore a backup or install a os
Thanks for all the work, I flashed the rom tonight, and finally have a clean system. One thing I found strange. The MD5 check in TWRP failed, but if you take the non-alpha numerical symbols out of the name and check it manually it passes. (md5sum SwiftFastSlimv2.zip on linux)

Does anyone know how to put original firmware back to the phone? (the phone currently had Slim&Fast firmware)
Where can I download the original B160 firmware?

Thanks

Is there a way to get Swype from the original firmware? I tried doing a titanium backup of it and restoring, but that didn't work. I prefer Swype as my main keyboard. Thanks for all your work!
