There is no bootloop if you format data after installation. I use Migrate for backups
Can you share this ArrowOs-> 20211108 update ?The 20211108 update was perfectly stable and bug-free. Battery life was also great. The few missing features like unlimited Google Photos could be added using Magisk.
The 20211225 had problems with battery life.
The latest update is a complete disaster for reasons mentioned on the last 2 pages

May build gangStill on ArrowOS 11 (pre-OSS-vendor), waiting for ArrowOS 12 to officially become a stable release.
Let's hope you won't have to clean flash every upcoming updateCurrently running ArrowOS 12 official January 15 update. Had to clean flash but very positive about it.
Agree, on Telegram group they say next update will be possible to dirty flash. If doing this through the build in Updater, you have to disable device security first as TWRP cannot decrypt device. And you should use twrp-3.6.0_10-1-surya-15.12.21.img
Sorry to say but yes, you have to clean flash if you want to update from Dec 25th build. I was in the same boat as I installed 25th build on the 15th and received the update only one day after. Had to do a clean flash and full setup again... But next update it should be possible to 'OTA or dirty flash'. Just make sure to be on the correct TWRP and remove device security before updating.I wonder if this means that everyone on the 25 Dec official build will need to clean flash if they want to go onto any newer upcoming build of Arrow, official or otherwise.
That would be really annoying as Dec 25 build was the first one I came to for A12 and obviously had to do a clean flash to get onto that from A11 so another clean flash so soon will be frustrating.
Because dev cannot make it work from 25th. But try it yourself. And you should use the 10 version of TWRP as suggested earlier. Why do I need to clean flash next build if they say dirty flash will be fine? Also there is a new recovery build out, 1801
Unfortunately, it's an intended behavior.I just upgraded to Arrow OS 12.1 and all seems to work flawlessly except that the quick settings appear to always be in dark mode, even if the rest of the system is in light mode:

I wanted to know if this is intended behaviour (I found some posts in /r/android_beta talking about this) or a bug, I didn't have this problem in Arrow OS 12.
Couldn't stand the risk. I have never lost my phone so far, but with all the 2FA, banking and wallets on my phone, having it unencrypted would be unthinkable.Points of view man, I understand your opinion but I prefer to stay completely decrypted![]()
TWRP 3.6.1-11 by brigudav installs Arrow 12 OTAs without any problems for meTo anyone complaining about TWRP decryption for OTAs
Once the ROM is installed for the first time, flash ArrowOS Recovery.
OTA updates will now work flawlessly and automatically, without needing to be decrypted.
No entering passcodes, nothing, it just reboots, installs the OTA then boots up again.
i thnik you do something wrong.I did. Removed lock screen before installation, formated everything and installed the ROM :/ Not sure what else to try...
I suggest you to flash 12.5.5 firmware as 12.5.7 seem like it can brick x3 nfc according to arrowos telegram channelI've recently upgraded from 11 to 12.1. When doing so I installed 12.5.7 firmware. I have had zero problems with ghosting.
With respect to nandroid backups, the latest TWRP that I'm using can save them to an external SD card which is what I do (and I believe to USB OTG but I haven't tested this)

My Clean flash of Arrow-v12.0-surya-OFFICIAL-20220123-GAPPS.zip still shows only Screenshot at the bottom of the recents window.
Where in the launcher settings? I do not see any recents setting at all in the default Lawnchair launcher settings
Everything is working fine so far. The only issue is that the fingerprint scanner acts as some sort of "enter" key. Does anyone know how to make it ignore accidental touches?
