I think it's no problem but I never flashed fw separately. So make sure to have a backup ready in case it went wrong. Is it alright to dirty flash the new firmware if I’m updating from Arrow 12.1 June 2 build?

Yeah, TWRP 3.5.0.2 here, Sorry I don't remember which one, exactly, but it does flash ota flawlesslyHow? When I tried from 11.05 to 18.05, my phone stucked in POCO logo...
Thanks but if I understand correctly, it's a very basic recovery. Maybe better to stay with TWRP...
That's what data encryption is for. They may crack TWRP security, but if your data partition is encrypted with a strong password, only a very determined/competent attacker (like the FBI or the Russian Mafia) would be able to break that.I remember it being possible to remove lockscreen password from recovery by deleting some files in twrp
I hope that's no longer possible
Could someone confirm that if my phone gets stolen, noone can use any method to abuse my twrp recovery or unlocked fastboot to unlock my device or read my internal partition
I'm fine with them being able to clean flash a new rom and me not being able to locate my phone or get it back, so long as none of my personal data is compromised
So the lockscreen password file resides within the encrypted part, and so it wouldn't be possible to know which files are the lockscreen password files and thus noone would be able to just remove my screen lock? Just confirming if that's how it worksThat's what data encryption is for. Ohh now I get it! Thanks! To put it simply, your password generates a key, and this process (theoretically/ mathematically) cannot be reversed. When you log in, the hash of the password you enter is compared with that key. There's more to it, but that's the general idea. So, if you throw away the "key" file, you cannot decrypt - your data is garbage.
Hi!I'm using BT rarely to send a file to another device by bluetooth. Now I've tried to send a file to my wife's phone and I've noticed that there's no option to 'share by bluetooth'... Not in my file manager ( MiXplorer ), neither in Google Files...
How to send a file by BT ? It's a lack of Arrow OS or of Android 12.1 base rom?
Thx ! It supports also root folders? I'll give it a try ! Thx man !Hi!
I'm using FX File Explorer and, from there, I can share any file by bluetooth.
Maybe you can try that...
I can also share files using File Manager +, so I guess it's the file manager you are usingI'm using BT rarely to send a file to another device by bluetooth. ArrowOS is a good choice but so are Lineage and CrDroid.
Download it from the ArrowOS web page and then install it from TWRP - latest version which decrypts data, if an earlier version use an sdcard, or alternatively sideload in TWRP from your PCIs it possible to update? I have 2022-06-15 and I want 2022-06-30.
I tried to OTA update but it didn't work because I had TWRP.
I searched in this post about updating with TWRP and they all talk about decryption. Is this needed for update? (My main storage is encrypted because I see weird folders when I navigate there in recovery).
Can I flash the ArrowOs recovery and update automatically? In that case, where do I get the recovery img?
Any help would be appreciated.

in an ADB shell or Android terminal and look for any strange processes hogging resources... just kill them and then wait and check for crashes. If nothing happens, you're good./*

My Clean flash of Arrow-v12.0-surya-OFFICIAL-20220123-GAPPS.zip still shows only Screenshot at the bottom of the recents window.
Where in the launcher settings? I do not see any recents setting at all in the default Lawnchair launcher settings
Everything is working fine so far. The only issue is that the fingerprint scanner acts as some sort of "enter" key. Does anyone know how to make it ignore accidental touches?
