I think the DFE doesn't work even doing it right.

I wanted to access a bank app but did ask for setting up a password for the device. I had to fresh reinstall (because TWRP showed encrypted data on internal memory; SD was good) but I used Migrate app and my SD card... No problems so fat but it takes some time...
what do you mean by using "Migrate app and SD card"?

December mainline update is available but be carefull if you do it, for me it resulted in a bootloop ! (easy solution if this happens to you -> go to TWRP and format cache and dalvik cache, then reboot into system and the bootloop should be fixed )

I was speaking about Mainline update ( you can find them in settings -> security -> play store update ). But be careful if you try it you might have a bootloop as i said.
I already have it on, it goes super well, it is much better because I use mi sound enhancer and it works perfect but I tried with other roms such as pixel experience android 12 and it did not work mi sound enhancer but I like the aosp more I hope it continues later to that is already stable but more updates have to come out and I will have to wait

Hi, i am on arrow os but I'm thinking to switch to this rom. Is it better than arrow in terms of performance and features? Anyone who used arrow before this one, what's your say on it?

I have not used arrow a12 before, but I have to say that this dev's roms are always a couple tiers ahead of any other rom in terms of performace and features. It has the quick tap and face-based auto rotate features which no other rom has as of yet afaik. Performance is just excellent. (correct me on the features if I'm wrong tho, haven't used any other a12 roms but also haven't seen any mention of these features in their changelogs)

You are right, features are top notch in this rom, only thing i am concerned of is now playing, now playing widget exists but it says app not installed, can we enable now playing somehow?

I'm afraid that hasn't been implemented yet. A quick google search tells me to go to settings>sound and vibration>now playing but that option doesn't exist. Though I'm pretty sure it'll be implemented soon.

Amen, really waiting for that feature to be implemented, btw have you noticed slight lag or jitter on main homescreen after applying live wallpapers? especailly the bloom ones?

I don't use live wallpapers so I can't comment on that. Though what did catch my eye is that the phone sometimes stutters while expanding the quick settings menu.

Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC
My phone freezes when connected to android auto and loses the connection, it also happens when using Chromecast. Should I clean flash? I'll wait for a new update then..

Hey I'm inlove with this custom rom, just flashed today. Because pixel experience android 12 is buggy as hell.

I'm going to tell something about one thing, I've put another rom to test the pixel extended, I try it and it works, but when I download an app for music and put a piece of music and I go to the sound and vibration settings and I go to mi sonund enhancer, I put it. And what happens that it does not work well then what a disappointment that it takes me I do not understand why the pixel roms do not work for them mi sonund enhance is that I do not know why the only one that works is the aosp android 12 the only one and the others is not a disappointment because I like it The serious music and when I have the music app with the equalizer it sounds great but when I have a pixel rom, nothing if that does not work for me, I know there are others but for me the best is mi sonund enhance

    - Follow update instructions mentioned in main post.

    Notes
    - Device randomly not waking up after sleep (aka SOD) should be fixed. It was diagnosed as UFS not waking from suspend and has been adequately patched in kernel drivers.
    - BT and wifi MAC address now shows correctly instead of random one. You may need to clean flash to refresh it, as wifi mac address is stored in first boot.
    - Selinux is enforcing, safetynet passes out of the box. User builds mean that most/all banking apps should work fine.
    - Google Photos should have unlimited photos backup now, thanks to nexus sysconfig.

Thanks to Kuba Wojciechowski (for pixel systemui and settings port), PixelExperience, ProtonAOSP and others.
