Followed the steps, however I get stuck in a fastboot loop, any ideas would be appreciated

Nope, just a regular OnePlus 8
Okay so I do have some errors, specifically:
"Invalid sparse file format at header magic"

No luck for me on my OnePlus 8 pro. The screen just kept flashing on and off. Ended up having to boot to safe mode, enable debugging, try again and had the same issue. I did get it started once but it said pixel unresponsive, close? Also, yes I did wiped and all. Just downloaded arrow and it worked just fine, no idea what went wrong with evolution. Was running evolution 11 prior to today.
Finally had time yesterday to sit down and flash this. First flash was unsuccessful causing crashdump, but I believe that was because I tried to flash a patched boot image during the initial flash. After reflashing and omitting Magisk initially booted no problem. Minor hiccups during setup, such as asking questions multiple times, but nothing major. So far, the only major thing I have noticed was some scrolling latency when certain things are happening, such as if a video is playing in the pop-out player, but it is inconsistent in getting it to replicate. One of my favorite features missing currently is the number of QS toggles, but we can get that control by using Fabricated Overlays. Overall, seems daily-driver material easily as long as battery holds up.
For anyone else, do you have a recommended GCam for this ROM?
EDIT: One other thing. Is there a way to change the refresh rate of the display yet? I couldn't find any options, but I might have overlooked something.

Missed a different error that was in the output:

Disregard my comments, turns out it's a bad idea to use Windows File explorer to unzip, switched to 7-ZIP and I had no issues.
With Screen OFF? You must install the MTeeks.APK.Great Rom, just double tap on lockscreen dlesn't work for me...
On the APP , Open Menu > Gesture > "Apply on Boot" and "DoubleTap2Wake" enabled.
