Pls can someone link me to a step by step installation for this rom?
Including root etc...

TNX!

Used this vid:

thing different for me was I had to use "fastboot flash boot [Recovery filename]" instead of "fastboot flash recovery [Recovery file name]".
Added a comment about that too below the vid (from Aqura C).
No idea how to root tho, sorry.

Hi!
Thanks so much for this rom. After years of wishing to flash a custom rom on my 7 pro, this one finally did it to me.

But there's one thing that drives me crazy, just wanted to tell you about it;
While switching opened apps, the animation kinda is shorter than the touch input (hard to explain for me as noob). That leads to me switching to the app I was in before, scrolling in that app and closing the former app because of that.
I attached a screen recording of this happening.
Leads to me regularly closing apps I don't want to close and the only way I found to fix it is turning the animations completely off.
Notice how I try to keep open discord and reddit in the recording, but one always closes without me wanting to do that. You can even see App 1 closing on the right side of the screen while I'm in App 2.

I didnt see the June build on the repository so i installed the 03-29 build. On it i ran into a bug where if i turn on 3 button nav, screen get stuck switching and i had to factory reset to use it again.

Hello everyone. I want to thank the developers and maintainer for this Pixel Experience ROM based on Android 12. I know that I will get a lot of use out of this.

I flashed it this morning. I did try the AVB and bootloader lock, but the boot kept looping back into fastboot mode until I unlocked the bootloader again even with the custom key. Aside from this, my few hours of heavy use and setup suggests that this ROM is solid. Everything seems to work as expected. A few things are missing from Pixel like Now Playing, but I really don't care because this is so much better than OOS IMHO. Fingerprint works great. Cellular and wifi signal strength are excellent just as good as before. GPS, bluetooth, pop up camera checks out. I didn't notice a change in camera quality. High refresh rate enabled out of the box. Safetynet pass.

This was a clean install. Silky smooth performance. Thank you!

I did not have a great user experience with Lineage 18 (battery issues, graphics glitches, 90 Hz not working properly) so I was really looking forward to trying this.
Hello, same situation here.

I fresh installed the 06/15 build as intended. Works great when bootloader is unlocked.

I then tried to re-lock bootloader as decribed in the optional post-install step.
I then had a message saying the OS is different as intended And it couldn't stop booting in fastboot mode (showing bootloader was indeed locked )

Any way to solve it without rooting and using Magisk ? Help appreciated :)

EDIT : direct answer regarding relocking of the bootloader from @parth7667 himself :

Is there any option to enable 'in pocket mode'? Because when I have my 1+ in pocket and take it off then I see leveled up a camera, also I disable bluetooth, enable flashlight, then battery is draining. If I don't find solution, then I would go to CrDroid or other ROM.

I had a similar problem. In my case I triggered the fingerprint reader while the phone was in the pocket. That leaves the screen awake and the quick settings accessible, which enables Bluetooth, flashlight etc.
In Settings->Display all the way at the bottom is the setting "Screen off FOD". Toggle that setting off. That helped in my case.

EDIT: Fixed my issue. But I do have a question. What's the charge speed on this? Normal? Dash? Whatever Google calls theirs?

This morning i woke up with a notification saying "not possible install the system update", anyone knows what's it's about?

    Hi,
The new kernel seems to keep the frequency of the little core above 1700mhz, don't know if this is for smoothness, but it really has a bad impact on battery life.
    2
Warp charge doesn't seem to be working after flashing. Battery currently at 70%, charging rate is 1.0Amp or just under. When I plug in the OP7 warp charger, it first says "charging slowly", then switches to "charging", no charging rapidly
I remember reading that there may be a setting in the battery section (settings > battery) that has something to do with "Smart Charging" which does just that, reduces the charge speed after 70 or 80%. Try looking around in there and see if that setting exists. Though you might want to leave it on, it's to help extend the life of the battery by not charging so fast when it's near full.

As a pro tip: according to the app AccuBattery, it says you do many wear cycles when going from 70 to 100% which degrades your battery by a lot. Stopping at 70% will extend the life of your battery by 10x (I've read this elsewhere about batteries in general).

Speaking of the battery, I'd like to point out this ROM has excellent battery life.

I did a "base" test or a controlled test on OOS and this ROM (07/14 build) by not using the phone (I used my other phone during this time for this test). This way I could see how the battery was as a base then anything you do after will drain the battery more. But out-of-box stock ROM this ROM is great (better than OOS). In ~70 hours this ROM used 55% whereas in ~80hrs OOS used 90%.

Now of course there are things that will alter even a base test like bluetooth, nfc, wifi, screen brightness, etc. which I had all off except wifi and 60% screen brightness. But using OOS and this ROM exactly the same, this ROM has better battery life. So if you have bad battery life look at those factors like bluetooth, nfc, screen brightness, etc. then of course rouge apps that are constantly running in the background.

Use AccuBattery to get an accurate reading on the apps, your battery discharge stats as well as the battery health, like how much mAh is left from the 4000mAh. A lower battery health percent will also of course cause you to not have as long of a battery anymore because the capacity will be diminished.

But overall do research and look into the reason why your battery is draining first - out-of-box this ROM is great.

Also charging this ROM looks to be faster than OOS as well. On the OOS screenshot it shows it around 900mA for the average current - I believe that is because I was over 80% (when taking the screenshot) which OOS slows the charge speed on purpose to prolong battery life, so unfortunately this test wasn't completely reliable/accurate - but on this ROM from 32% to 80 it did take about 20 min which is very quick.
