Hello, same situation here.Hello everyone. I want to thank the developers and maintainer for this Pixel Experience ROM based on Android 12. I know that I will get a lot of use out of this.
I flashed it this morning. I did try the AVB and bootloader lock, but the boot kept looping back into fastboot mode until I unlocked the bootloader again even with the custom key. Aside from this, my few hours of heavy use and setup suggests that this ROM is solid. Everything seems to work as expected. A few things are missing from Pixel like Now Playing, but I really don't care because this is so much better than OOS IMHO. Fingerprint works great. Cellular and wifi signal strength are excellent just as good as before. GPS, bluetooth, pop up camera checks out. I didn't notice a change in camera quality. High refresh rate enabled out of the box. Safetynet pass.
This was a clean install. Silky smooth performance. Thank you!
I did not have a great user experience with Lineage 18 (battery issues, graphics glitches, 90 Hz not working properly) so I was really looking forward to trying this.
Yes I hope it will be fixed for the next release, it's kind of a small thing but a bit awkard still :3
I had a similar problem. In my case I triggered the fingerprint reader while the phone was in the pocket. That leaves the screen awake and the quick settings accessible, which enables Bluetooth, flashlight etc.Is there any option to enable 'in pocket mode'? Because when I have my 1+ in pocket and take it off then I see leveled up a camera, also I disable bluetooth, enable flashlight, then battery is draining. If I don't find solution, then I would go to CrDroid or other ROM.
I remember reading that there may be a setting in the battery section (settings > battery) that has something to do with "Smart Charging" which does just that, reduces the charge speed after 70 or 80%. Try looking around in there and see if that setting exists. Though you might want to leave it on, it's to help extend the life of the battery by not charging so fast when it's near full.
Hmm I have not tried this yet although I don't really use any apps that use the mic except for the phone/dialer. Is that affected as well?
