[ROM][12.0][Unofficial] LineageOS 19.1 for OnePlus 3/3T

That we will see Android 12 on OnePlus 3/3T devices...
Because Android 12 requires a 4.x kernel...
And the last kernel that OnePlus 3/3T received is 3.18...​

It turned out that Android 12 can run on "prehistoric" Kernel 3.18.

What doesn't work:

• NO SIM DETECTED
• NO BLUETOOTH
• CAMERA CRASHES
• VIDEO PLAYBACK
• MIC?
• MOST OF GAPPS 12
• A LOT MORE STUFF

What works:

• DISPLAY
• TOUCHSCREEN
• SOUND
• WI-FI
• CAN BE ROOTED (MAGISK)
• GAPPS 12 CORE
• AURORA STORE

Thank you for posting here! I have used the ROM earlier and it looks like there has not been a lot of progress since then. I am not sure if the dev can get past the limitations that the kernel places on the ROM to ever make this stable but I hope he can.

What about that 4.x kernel that someone was supposed to be tinkering with? Anyone know anything about it, like if it's still being worked on, how close is it to working, etc.? Even though my 3T now serves me only as a developer phone (my daily driver is a 7 Pro), I'd be thrilled to see its life extended past Android 11 for at least a little while longer.

I'll begin saying that my oneplus 3 is the phone I use on a dailly basis. So when you say it doesn't even recognize SIM card, it doesn't work...

That's a lot of effort indeed, Can you please tell the process how to change the easter egg of android 11 to android 12 ? and also change the android version in settings>about phone ?
Actually I am happy with android 11 but only want the easter egg . I searched but couldn't locate the easter egg location

This application requires Android 12 or later, the only way to run it is to create a port for earlier Android versions.

I've dirty flashed rom's all over each other without issue. But am aware it is not stable, OP3 is not my daily driver

Inside of same version of android, it can run good. From a version to another, is almost sure that will give issues.
Have you tried this build?

I am sad to see that my OnePlus 3T can no longer be upgraded with new Android versions. Though, community support for this phone has been one of the best ever.

There is still Ubuntu Touch but I can't imagine anything else. The OP3T is to restricted of what you can use.

Check UBports. FYI, Halium 7 is mid, no APK support without Waydroid, GPS is meh, VoLTE IMS support isn't finished yet.

The whole install process is automatic through their portal software.
