nonsense. many phones have this type of proximity sensor and the problem is with the user. there are two reasons: a bad case that covers the sensor (then you have to manually enlarge the holes) or simply badly holding the phone during the conversation - it is recommended to keep the phone as far away from your head as possible during the conversation and not stick it to your face.
But this is not about whether I hold the phone to my head. Let me give you an example. I am in a meeting, the phone is on the table, someone calls, the name is displayed on the screen, I press power and I want the screen off. However, it is impossible to do this, the phone wakes up in half a second and continues to display that someone is calling. It is also important that the phone is still lying on the table at this moment. Something is wrong with the software.
To be sure, I also took off the case off and it is the same
Maybe if I set up a task on GitLab it will be fixed. We'll see.
I had previously installed LineageOS with android 11 and didn't have this problem. I installed everything clean with the latest firmwares
Edit:
I solved the problem. I downloaded calling app from
Simple Mobile Tools.
