Gave up using the updater. Much quicker just to download and flash using the pc. It shouldnt take hours for a 1GB update.
Im also having an issue with SMS permissions not being allowed with google play services and it keeps bugging me about it.

Edit. Last update fixed sms permissions

I have the issue that when i get called, even by someone that's in my contact list, it won't show the name of the caller. Is this an issue because i'm on the EU firmware (13.0.6.0.SKHEUXM)? if yes, is it safe to upload the global firmware without causing data loss?

Yes it is safe to flash the global firmware
I've done it a few times switching from global to eu then back to global again.

Most likely. Make sure you flash the recommended firmware.

Hi, I've got recently this poco f3. So far I'm impressed by the performance of the phone but disappointed in the notification system it has.
All the notifications feel rough, especially the ones on the lock screen. You can't swipe them and if you press on the "x" to close them, they just pop up the "next message" and also the lock screen notifications a bit buggy.
I'm comparing it with the stock poco f1 fyi.

On the poco f3 I have MIUI Global 13.0.6.0 Stable (SKHEUXM) , Android 12 SKQ1.211006.001 and Kernel 4.19.113-perf-g5c1bd521c3a4, and I'd like to know if it is OK for me to install ArrowOS on this device with the specs mentioned above?

The firmware you have is not the recommended one. It doesn't mean you'll have issues, but it's preferable to stick on maintainer guidelines

Hi, thanks for making a great version room F3. You can put the changelog at the top of the page so that I can find and see the change easily without having to search every page.

Could be due to 4g calling option being on.

LDAC Bluetooth codec isn't available for me in the latest update. Looks like there were a lot of Bluetooth changes in the update, so perhaps it'll come back next update. Very solid otherwise. Thanks

So it's not just me, huh? Kinda wonder what happened. i hope it's not a licensing issue, i assume not, but still. my headphones rn only have aac and sbc as options.

I can confirm this. LDAC is gone. Instead my Sony headphones are now using aptX HD for the bluetooth connection with my F3.

I am facing this weird issue with the latest ArrowOS build, my voice is not going through the mobile call, but does when I call using WhatsAPP or Trucaller HD call. I tried resetting the network setting, VOLTE On and Off, but nothing seems to be working, can anyone guide or help solve this issue?

I installed arrowos today and it crashed by itself several times while playing diablo. I didn't have this problem in previous roms.

How do I update the firmware? I'm currently running ArrowOS 11 with 12.5.5.0 and want to update to V13.0.2.0.SKHMIXM but I'm not sure about how to do it.

Can it be done through ArrowOS recovery or do I need to use a PC?

first flash fw with a12 twrp. then follow the clean install instructions. You can also install twrp from another phone. training videos available

Do I need to actually install TWRP or will it be ok to just boot TWRP on the phone as I'm only updating the firmware?

Poco F3 screen suddenly doesn't turn on. It was never dropped, it was not plugged in. Just laying on the table idling.
I plugged it into PC and mirror the screen to PC monitor. Phone is still working fine, just the screen not turning on. Restarting the phone fixes it. I'm on the latest Arrow version.
I wonder what caused it?

    First I moved the arrowOS img file to my phone storage, turned off my find device, and removed my screen lock completely.

    Then download twrp skkk for alioth from here: https://dl.akr-developers.com/?dir=skkk/TWRP/A12
    So you go to the 5.1 folder and find the Alioth img file, as of right now it looks like this: [BOOT]3.6.2_12-RedmiK40-RedmiPOCOF3_v5.1_A12-alioth-skkk_b8cf297a.img - 192.00MB
    Put it where the adb and fastboot files are in your computer. I also renamed it to twrp362.img
    Then you reboot your phone to fastboot mode. When it's off press and hold power and vol down.
    Then on your computer open cmd as administrator to where you have the adb and fastboot files.
    Type: fastboot boot twrp362.img
    Wait for it to push twrp in your phone and your phone will reboot to twrp.
    You can now use the install option;TWRP will see your storage, so you can install from your storage device now. After installation just reboot
    No need to wipe cache or anything else.

    Alternative method, This is how i do it personally:
    After twrp is booted and running on my phone, I type on my computer:
    adb shell
    cd sdcard
    twrp install ArrrowOS.img
    (Then i'll wait until cd prompt comes back on)
    exit
    adb reboot

    I have not permanently installed twrp on my phone. Whenever i want to update, I fastboot boot twrp.img to my phone and update and install magisk that way, but you can install twrp to your phone within twrp itself. Do not flash twrp to your phone with the fastboot command! As in, just use the command: fastboot boot twrp362.img and don't use other fastboot commands.

    SDM870 (SM8250-AC) don't support, just checkout with kona, we won't have any effect.

    Should work, maybe try clean gms app data/cache. If you use Magisk, follow instructions for hide root.

    INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:

    First installation (Clean flash):

    You need PC with adb/fastboot tools.
    Download boot, vendor_boot and rom zip:

    Reboot in ArrowOS Recovery:

    fastboot reboot recovery

    Make format data (Factory reset -> Format data).

    Flash ROM (Apply update -> Apply from ADB):

    adb sideload name.zip

    Follow what show on device, should be ... Step 1/2 -> 2/2, then flashing ended, can reboot device in system. (In cmdline: If the process succeeds the output will stop at 47% and report `adb: failed to read command: Success`. In some cases it will report `adb: failed to read command: No error` which is also fine!")

    If you want install separate gapps on vanilla buildtype, after flash ROM:

    Advanced -> Reboot to recovery

    Flash gapps (Apply update -> Apply from ADB):

    adb sideload name.zip

    Install Update (dirty flash):

    Go in Settings -> System -> Updater

    Downlad new build -> Install

    Device will automatically download, install a new build and reboot.

    Update arrow-12.0 -> arrow-12.1 (dirty flash):

    You need PC with adb/fastboot tools.

    1) Download new build and reboot into Recovery

    2) Flash ROM (Apply update -> Apply from ADB):

    adb sideload name.zip

    3) Reboot into System
