I never know that AOSP keyboard, or any keyboard based on that, support swipe for non-English, Gboard might be though

I have seen AOSP keyboard with the feature for both English and Greek. I believe it was LineageOS for LG G6, but I will confirm once back home to check my LG. However, I am wondering if it is a feature of the ROM or the gapps.

Is this OS encrypted? It says encrypted in the Trust settings. But when I install apps via TWRP it does not ask me for a password, as it was with original Miui OS or Lineage.

Could someone explain pls or give a link to read about OS encryption and security models?

Hi, I've just rooted my device and this ROM is the first one to try. So far I love it, it's awesome.
I just wanted to make a small suggestion.
While playing games on full screen the status bar hides and I cannot find any option to stop it from hiding. The only way to show it is to swipe up the screen every time I want to use the navigation buttons or gestures. Whether I select full screen app or not, it's still in full screen and hides status bar by default. Appreciate it, great ROM!

Hi, sorry for the noob question but any replies would be highly appreciated.

I switched to this rom from xiaomi.eu through TWRP, but I don't think I clean flashed properly because as far as I remember the "factory reset" didn't wipe everything it should have cause I remember seeing a bunch of red text on twrp. I still managed to install the rom and it is great (thanks to the developer), but I have extreme idle battery drain. So I wanted to go back and wipe the dalvik/art cache with TWRP now, after installing the rom to see if it would help with my issue.

But I can't clear the dalvik cache as it says "/data storage couldn't be mounted, dalvik wipe failed". Is there any way to fix it? I'm also concerned because If I have to do a clean flash in the future, TWRP doesn't seem to be able to wipe everything on my device needed for a clean flash. Any help would be appreciated!

Try format data ( that option where you must type "yes" to confirm).

Cannot connect to Android Auto​

I have a Redmi Note 10 Pro that until last week was on A11 with ArrowOS. I had no trouble connecting to Android Auto (AA) using a usb cable.

A couple of days ago I installed crDroid (crDroidAndroid-12.1-20220628-sweet-v8.6) along with Gapps (FlameGApps-12.1-basic-arm64-20220612) and MIUI firmware (fw_sweet_miui_SWEETGlobal_V13.0.4.0.SKFMIXM)

I now cannot connect to AA. I either get a black screen on the head unit or a dim message that says I have to agree to the terms etc in the AA app. I can't find those terms and I can't uninstall the AA app. The phone screen shows me an animation of connecting via usb but it is not recognized when I do. The usb cable is the same as on A11 using ArrowOS.

Suggestions welcome.

Thanks for your reply. I do have a head unit in the car that previously connected to AA through a usb cable to the phone but the head unit did not come with AA pre-installed. If I understand the article correctly Google has disabled this even though I was only using the compatible car screen. Anyway, according to the article I can now use Google Assistant, so I will try that tomorrow.

Hello,
i just discovered that i can not install apk files anymore. Tapping them just shows me the content of the files instead of installing them. This happens from various browsers and from explorer as well. The only "open with" choices i get are "opcen document reader" and "libera pro".
I am on the newest cr-droid version and all is up to date.
I'm happy about any suggestions!

If the screenshot is way too big, sorry about that (my 1st one, tell me how to fix)! But what went wrong last night, any ideas? Phone was completely empty overnight, recharging now. In the screenshot it's saying Android System 10 days, 6 hours, 43 minutes and 289% but I have installed this rom only since sunday. And do we somewhere have a back button by swiping a bit from the left side of the screen towards the right?

Hey i got a annoying bug, whenever i tap something to open somethingnlike settings or some apps, sometimes the taps are registred as longpress taps how to fix that?

Overnight battery drain is 10-12% with wifi and data off. Is it normal as in Previous version battery drain was only 2-3%??
