Does anyone still use the 3 button navigation keys? I'm getting weird double haptic feedback when pressing them. It isn't consistent, sometimes it vibrates once, others it vibrates twice (vibration on button press and vibration on button unpress). Is there a solution?

Following link "https://www.pling.com/p/1835160/", coming from XDA thread "https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/recovery-12-official-teamwin-recovery-project.4248449/ ", contains under its download button the possibility to download the nebrassy version dated 13-09-22.
I installed that version and I updated my Redmi Note 10 Pro by dirty flashing last version of crDroid 8 (13-09-2022).

The two other versions of TWRP present there can also do the job.

I don't personnally care if it's encrypted or not (for the moment in any case).
If You want to learn more about encryption, read first this thread entirely.
If You make a search on the web based on '"encryption/decryption xda", You may read and learn much more about this subject, on XDA forum.

Does anybody use Nova Launcher and Nova Google Companion?
I've used it for years with different devices and never had problems. But on CRDroid, it shows the feed, but doesn't load any website. When I open the google app, discover is working as it should. Weird thing: after opening the google app I can load exactly one feed in the browser via nova companion.

Can anybody provide a solution?

After 2 years of taking a break from Android modding this ROM was a brilliant welcome back to customisation. Well done Devs! This is a feature rich ROM an quite smooth - being on the previous build. Unique issues to me: Flame Apps didn't work for me which resulted in the boot screen hanging on start up. Nik Apps didn't allow Company Portal to work so couldn't install my work profile. BUT if you're not using Work Apps / Company Portal this is a great ROM, very feature rich and quite purist. I hope the devs can preinstall a G apps version in the future so work apps can install.

Hello, love this rom, but I have had some battery draining issues. It seems that android OS and android system processes are constantly draining the battery during idle. When I installed this rom, first few nights battery was awesome (~3% per night), but then something changed.

Im on crDroid 8.8 non-root. Pocket detection is off, OTA update checking for rom is also off. Haven't tried uninstalling apps yet.

I have attached bettery usage stats.

UPDATE:
Tried turning off google backup and that seems to have stopped the battery drain. So no problems with this ROM, good job devs!

What could be wrong, if the updater does not check for updates automatically? I have set up a daily check, but I always have to trigger a manual check.

Any follow up to this, I was facing the same issue, tried your suggestion. Fingers crossed

For me, the Google Wallet app is saying that my device does not meed the requirement to pay with the phone. I have Magisk installed, Zygisk activated and Universal SafetyNet Fix. One other question. I get 2 notification sounds when I turn off the phone. Anyone else having that as well and/or knows why I get the notification sounds?

i forgot my pin and havent been able to get in to my device, is there any hope for me?
my phone doesnt show forgot password even after typing incorrect pins for 19 pins.
if i cant get into phone, can i atleast backup my data i have twrp installed and my phone is rooted.find my device is off

Probably will need to do a rest via TWRP. If this is not possible you will need to side load TWRP via adb in fastboot to bypass encryption.
