just realized that I cant flash a new recovery without a working data connection. Also Razer got back to me and wants ~$130 diagnostic fee + any repairs. I guess i can live without root unless theres a way to do this through the magisk app? scratch that, ive got a patched img file but no way of flashing it. ****kk

I just bought an used Razer Phone 2 (in excellent condition) and the flashed last update of PixelExperience.

- Bootload unlock warning message always display on boot, There's a way not to show it?
- There's a way to change screen resolution additionaly to reduce refresh rate?
- Benchmarks Apps don't run too, Antutu there's no "Start" button on screen and 3D Mark closes and shows a out of memory message

Hi all,

Just switched back to my RP2 and installed this ROM running on the Verizon network. Used the Verizon fix and everything seems to be working fine. However, phone calls seem to disconnect at 15 minutes exactly. I believe I must be missing a setting or something, as I am not getting network disconnects. Can someone help?

2.You can't get rid of bootloader massage, only one way is to lock it back with stock rom, if you will lock it with PE you will Brick you phone forever

Yeah totally. I was running Magisk from day 1 until my c port crapped the bed.

Mines on the way, hence the exclusive wireless charging, but it's in just enough condition to get a connection at the right angle lol. I slapped an iPhone mag ring on the back of mine and use a magsafe puck to charge, thanks for the info though, I'll probably root ins few days, can you do it on the standard PE+ recovery?

For anyone wanna do this with a rooted device, the root will be removed. I just tried this and downloaded it on my other phone it was all good not saying its bad, but it removes root.

Adding the stock camera back seems to have messed with the double tap power button to jump to camera: it doesn't work from the lock screen anymore when the camera app is set to the gcam port.

You should remove the default value you set for it. At no default state, every camera in system is selectable for double tap power button, just tested and working

I did the following: went to app info of gcam, cleared open by default preferences, and double tapped the power button. A prompt appeared allowing me to select a camera to open by default, and I selected gcam. While unlocked, gcam opened as expected, but when locked, I was prompted to unlock the device. After unlocking, gcam still didn't open.

this may sound dumb, but is there any way to make a reliable nandroid backup with your recovery or adb? if not, would flashing arter's kernel break the rom?

Arter kernel will break rom, you can root it and do Swift backup or Titanium Backup
