Tbh. I don't mind a few bugs in OOS camera, the modes I use do work fine.
I don't want to root my device just for the camera.

trying to install this ROM on OnePlus 7 pro 5G Sprint variant, will it work? Does anyone know if this will work and are there any links on how to root and install recovery and flash this ROM.

Try to modify the recovery (from first Page) with the Magisk App and flash this it worked for me.

1. Just Copy the recovery.img in your internal Storage
2. Install the Magisk App
3. Now you can click on Install in the Magisk App

4. Chose the recovery.img
5. After the process is finished you can flash the "modified" recovery.img with Fastboot

Hope this works for you too.

Need some help managed to flash everything + root. Still working on getting volte to work on Telus (cdn) that's a different story...

But two small issues I noticed 1) does warp charge work? I plugged in my charger and it said charging slowly - still felt like it was charging somewhat fast.

2) with Android auto I noticed I have to unplug and plug in usb many times for car to pick it up. (new car 2022) - usb debugging disabled is there anything else I can try ?

I've been successful at building a few other roms and I don't believe I would have figured things out that I did, not nearly as soon as I did, had I not had help from another user/real dev from XDA. I attempted to build PE twelve about a month ago but I wasn't successful. Going to check out GitHub now for PE+. Thanks for sharing your work! I've been on 01/16 build three or four days and it's great! I guess you guys swapped out the long press power for flashlight shortcut for the power menu and assistant options. Either that or I just haven't located the setting yet. Awesome job on this! Rock solid stable! 👍

    NOTE: It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine.

    Have you tried the msm tool to do a complete rebuild, idk if this fixes the persist but its worth a shot

    It's pretty easy, like I said instructions are a bit unclear for new users.
    These were my steps for a clean flash:
    1. be on latest OOS 11 with unlocked bootloader and activated USB ADB
    2. boot to fastboot mode via ADB "adb reboot bootloader"
    3. flash the provided recovery "fastboot flash boot boot.img"
    4. in fastboot select recovery via volume buttons
    5. once in recovery go to factory reset and format data
    6. in recovery go to reboot and boot to recovery again
    7. in recovery select apply update and then via ADB flash the ROM "adb sideload rom.zip"
    8. reboot device
