PC does not recognize the device when I try to transfer files via USB. The disk does not mount on PC. how can I solve it?

For anyone trying to sideload PixelExtended_lemonkebab-12.0-20211223-0220-OFFICIAL.zip but ends up getting the error

E:Package is for product OnePlus8T,Oneplus9R,lemonkebab but expected OnePlus8T

Just edit the file in the zip (with 7zip for example) \META-INF\com\android\metadata and replace the pre-device "," with "|".
Last line should look like this:

pre-device=OnePlus8T|OnePlus9R|lemonkebab

The Widevine level suddenly downgraded to L3 without root in this ROM, and it was L1 before. Anyone with the same issue, and how to solve it?

Edit: This is NOT a bug but expected behaviour on all custom ROMS.

I'm having problem with the double tap too.
If i lock the screen and i double tap it works fine, but if i fait i while the double tap doesn't work anymore

Hi guys and pixel extended team. There are a couple of bugs that need to be fixed for the 12gb 256 model of the 8T. This is the kb 2005 unlocked model.

A couple of things that would make this perfect.

A couple of bugs include YouTube / system audio is very inconsistent. I found myself pressing the volume up and down button a lot in the apps like YouTube. Is it possible to make the YouTube app louder.

YouTube volume is in the middle of the screen when watching horizontally.

Fingerprint scanner flickers the display when the fingerprint isn't properly placed

Rcs messages is stuck on verifying can't use wifi messages

No oxygen cam / gallery. I take macro shots here and there and I'm missing it but I like pixel ROM.

Dual sim I'm not sure if this works but would be nice.

YouTube volume is kinda low for my liking but other than that it's amazing ROM.

Thank u btw. Attached is the image of the volume pill when changing the volume for videos in utube. It's probably In other apps like Netflix , Disney plus etc.

Also can I dirty flash the update and do I have to factory reset anytime there's an update?

I'm on a different A12 based custom ROM but it might be similar case. Wichaya and Greatness GCams were crashing so I tried This one with 8T config and so far so good

Hi, I can't seem to register a fingerprint. Every time I try the screen does a little flicker, like the display is dimming in brightness and going back to original. Any idea why is that?

Great job with the ROM btw. However, TWRP can't decrypt my internal storage unfortunately. Other than that, I have experienced no problem with the ROM itself so far.


Also Bluetooth doesn't seem to work. System freezes when I pair my phone with a Bluetooth earbuds.

Had the same problem, flashing the rom again (to have it in both slots) fixed it for me. See Post #220.

No OTA (afaik). Dirty Flash or clean flash depends on the update, most of the times the dev will tell, whenever a new update is out. TWRP is for A11, therefore it can't decrypt the storage. Needs to be updated for A12.

For the Bluetooth issue just update all your Google Apps in the store. Fixed it for me.

Do not turn on quick unlock, it will lock you out of the device regardless of you entering the right pincode.
