I might be missing something but I'm on the August 16 release and most of the things you list is working fine there.Pretty smooth ROM, but i've noticed some disadvantages:
-no warp charging with original oneplus car charger
-no OOS Cam
-only one fingerprint can be added
-screen is too bright compared to stock OOS, always near 80-90% of brightness and light sensor does not block by proximity sensor (hand is reflecting light from screen to light sensor and this causes endless loop of brightening)
-AOD is always on low brightness which makes it illegible during the day
-in smooth display mode (60-120hz) refresh rate changes too often for no reason which causes eg. irritating changing of colors in low brightness every second
-lack of device-specific options eg. DC Dimming
-sometimes camera in apps like messenger cannot adjust sharpness
I wrote this when my phone was on august 17 version (oos 12 base) from gdrive above. Today i did update to 23 august version by OTA and now i have option to add secondary fingerprint but other problems mentioned in my previous post still occur.
Warp charge is fine here. You sure you have original charger & cable?
if you are still on Aug 16 build: please follow the instructions in the 2nd post and update your fw to latest OOS12, then flash Aug 23th build.
Thanks for the reminder. I am aware of this, that's why I haven't upgraded yet. Still digesting the instructions
Thanks. I'm not so concerned with the icon, but it was previously reported that the ROM could not use 5G data. That its stuck to 4G. Was this just an icon issue? Or are they separate issues?
Update: I was able to install AICP12 from AICP11 following the detail instructions. Thanks so much for posting them .

CRDroid has not been updated for OP8P since 7-21-2022. I think the maintainer moved on and no one has picked it up yet.Greetings AICP OP8P Users,
I was wondering if anyone has run crDroid as well and could provide a brief comparison. I have been happy w/crDroid, however the updates are monthly at best and they are still working on a OOS12 based version so there hasn't been an official update since July. I see that this ROM gets weekly builds which appeals to me as I don't like not having the latest Google Security Update. I'm thinking of making the switch, but want to know what I would have to give up in doing so. Sense AICP doesn't do vendor blobs does that mean no Dolby Atmos? I don't care about the OOScam, but one of the things that I like the most about crDroid is that I'm able to retain Widevine L1 even when rooted. Is this the case for AICP as well?
Thanks in advance!
