Dirty update failed Stuck on logo animation... tried already:
- wiped cache/dalvik and reboot - stuck on logo still
- tried re-flashing or downgrading to previous crDroid - get error in twrp:
"Error applying update: 1 (ErrorCode: kError)"
The only addon that I use is NikGapps Basic.
I used the dev's method - as described in every post.
Any help? I'd like to not loose my data...

TWRP skkk latest (with decryption support)

Don't use the latest firmware, use 13.0.3 or recommended by the dev.

That is the firmware I'm using - I think it is the latest for global version - anyway, that's what I'm using, still trying to recover but without success... any help appreciated.

I thought maybe it's TWRPs fault - so I downgraded to the previous skkk version (3.6.1) - but same error...
Now I can't install any ROM... :-(

tried to sideload - this gave the same error (kError - tried to google this, but to no success)
finally gave up - formated data. that helped....
restoring from backup will be a pain...

you must format and start new. skk latest version 3.7 also failed me. it reboot to system not to recovery on the step 2. idk why, maybe its my error. but I must format to install new rom

Tab Reboot
Toggle "Current Slot" (If on A -> Tab B, If on B -> Tab A)
Then reboot system

dirty update fails too, flash rom->reboot->flash gapps -> flash magisk->reboot, boot stops in log, I didn't flash fw since I flashed on both slots before. but I changed to origin slot and booted into 0613, maybe try later..

After dirty updating, it has given me error in Goole Play services, I had to uninstalled them and install them again. The same has happened with Google Play Store, I have uninstalled and I have again installed. Now it seems that everything works correctly.
I don't know if someone else would have had this problem.

Guess also a combination of gapps package as well. Also decryption.
My setup is Nik canary basic + encrypted + magisk
This setup worked well on every dirty flash except now on 3.7, so suspect twrp - but may vary from user to user.

I don't want to spoil it. If I'm already using a previous version of cRDroid ROM, which is fine.
If clean install, then twrp 3.7 "current latest" ?
If dirty install, then twrp 3.6 ?
Of course crDroid 2022.06.28. v8.6
Currently this "problem" will be solved later ?

Dirty flash with twrp 3.6.2 worked flawlessly, as usual, so i guess this suports twrp 3.7 being the suspect here xd.

On PocoF3, dirty flash without issues.

In my case:

• Boot recovery, TWRP 3.7, already installed on device
• Flash crdroid
• Reboot to recovery
• Flash NikGapps-SL canary omni
• Flash Magisk 24.3
• Reboot system
