I am using vanilla build with nikgapps full (custom config). The wallpaper color option is blank.

Is there anything I am doing wrong or it only works with Gapps build?

Thanks for your work,I came from miui 12.0.3 and installed your rom.
Installed genshin impact and played it a little and frame rate was awful and not a smooth gameplay
Checked the CPU freq and saw it was on 1363 mh when playing the game and not 2803 mh.
I tried to raise it to 2803 but it revert to a random freq, even on performance governor.don know what is the problem

Update: flashed latest ngk kernel, all good.game runs smooth

The reason why I removed this is I replaced it with Wallpapers app in Nikgapps. The vanilla ThemePicker does not work with Pixel Launcher. I also tried not debloating Themepicker and installed Pixel launcher and Wallpapers app but the issue remained the same.

I have also reported this to NikGapps thread:
https://xdaforums.com/t/custom-gapps-nikgapps-android-s-r-q-arm64.3915866/post-86286061

The reason why I use Vanilla build is because Gapps build includes bloat like Chrome and Recorder which can be simply installed via playstore. Can you please consider removing Chrome browser from Gapps build? Others can be easily debloated via NikGapps debloater.

I am not complaining. Hope I bring some value to the project.
Thanks.

I loved the rom but I didn't like the game performance. I can't get stable 60 fps at the highest settings in wild rift, it drops to values like 55-57 from time to time. It could be rom related, or kernel etc. I don't know exactly. how do i solve this problem? (I was getting 60 FPS with no problems when I was on android 11 rom and I had tons of apps installed on the phone)

(the Android 11 rom I was using was not awakenos. I wanted to point this out because it might be relevant to kernel etc.)

Yes i had this problem too , but I fixed it with NGK kernal even a balanced profile makes 60fps constantly while maintaining amazing bb, but in this kernal comes with rom , I think it's a battery friendly one cause I'm. Getting 8.30 hours of sot from 100 to 4, and I saw this silvercore has half of benchmark results compared to ngk , but for people's who consider bb can surely stay on stock silvercore🎈❤️

While I was thinking of installing the no gravity kernel, I saw something called "thermal profile" without changing the kernel on the rom. After choosing wild rift and choosing performance mode, I played 1-2 matches and I didn't have a problem. I will also try the gaming mode. by the way, how is the system/game battery performance in ngk balanced mode? can you compare it to the kernel in awakenos? I've been using the same battery for 3 years already, it's a bit bad, is it better or worse than silverstone when NGK is in balanced mode?

And i dont know what is "bb"

No NGK consumes more than silver core in balance mode, its a overclocked kernal right

I'm on 2.2 Ares. I've got an update when I checked using Updater app. When I tried to install it, it didn't work, so I tried to export it for installing manually but that too failed (log).

Does anyone where the update file is stored when downloaded using Updater?

    • Transfer the ROM from PC to Device. If you have SDcard or USB OTG you can also use that. (If PC can't recognize the device while u are in TWRP > go to Advanced > File Manager > choose Internal Storage (sdcard) > then PC should be able to recognize it)
    • Flash ROM. NOTE: ROM IS FORCE ENCRYPTED
    • Reboot and Enjoy!
    OTA Upgrade/Update:
    ⚠️Warning⚠️

    • Only use OTA if you are encrypted. Simply go to updater and press install.

    • From version 2.9 and go on, builds are encrypted by default.
    • If you want to be encrypted, recommended is to do one Clean Install according to guide and afterwards you can do OTA updates.
    • If you are decrypted and you want to stay decrypted, do Dirty Install according to guide and do not use OTA.
    • If you encounter Fastboot issues read the guide/fix in my thread.
    • You can translate the ROM in Crowdin.
