@raystef66 Thank you for the ROM. This is the first custom ROM that I have installed. I was so fed up with the miui stuck on Android 10. I had a few micro heart attacks while flashing the ROM but thankfully everything went mostly fine. It runs smoothly and I am a little bit salty that I haven't flashed it sooner For the camera, I use a Gcam 7.3. It stutters a little when switching physical cameras but I don't mind it that much. I might try the ANX camera next that was mentioned in this thread multiple times. The only thing I am missing is the AI hardware button not working. Oh and I think I found a little bug the Bluetooth indicator is not showing for me in the status bar. It does show when I connect my earphones but not with my mi band 3. Anyways, once again thank you for the ROM and I highly recommend it to anyone thinking about flashing it.

@Flegmo you can edit the file /system/usr/keylayout/gpio-keys.kl and change the key 689 that comes with AI function and change it to the function that you want with the name inside the brackets:

If you mean adaptive charging, its not available. However there's the ACC (advanced charge controller) magisk module or if you want an easy option there's the app AccuBattery.
One major drawback about these two options is that they do not charge the battery to 100% as the Pixel feature do, they can only limit the charge up to a certain level.

Oh well, that fits perfect for me. Thank you. Didn't know there is a module for it. I will try it in the next days.

How do I make a partial screenshot?

Hey guys, I want to flash the latest ROM. I am running the one posted here on the 13. 06. and I would like to upgrade to the newest one. I have already downloaded it via OTA but haven't installed it yet because I have a few questions. I am assuming I should follow the DIRTY installation guide but I don't want to mess this up.

1. Do I need to flash DFE ? I have flashed it previously.
2. Can I encrypt my device later via system settings ?
3. I have seen videos of people just clicking on the install button after downloading the ROM and then rebooting. Is this a bad way to do it ?
4. And finally, as I understand I shouldn't need to reflash gapps and magisk unless something goes wrong.
Do I understand this correctly ?

Thank you very much for the rom and the update.
Use it for a month and I have two minors issues (with the two last versions)

- Sometimes the phone just freeze in Always on display mode. One time every 3 days approximately.
- The volume per app is ofen reinitialzed. I put volume on app at 0. Later in day it will be reset to the phone multimedia volume (don't know if its ROM or Android relative)

That's it so wonderful work.

Since encryption works completely different between Android 11 and Android 12 clean flash is a must. However, in case your device is not encrypted you might give dirty flash a chance. But I wouldn't do so.

For Miui I don't know. But since crDroid is based on LineageOS you shouldn't expect a noticable difference.
