I can never get this to update and have to start fresh every time. I've included my recovery log, can someone take a look and let me know what might be wrong with my phone please.

What's your recovery version? Try this: twrp-3.6.2_12-v6.0_A12-lmi-skkk.img works for me like a charm.

Is partition encrypted? Looks like something wrong with decryption. Did you flash boot partition along with recovery?

No idea if it worked on Android 11, haven't used any rom. It is broken in GCam (tried different versions as well). Even though the option is there, enabling it doesn't do anything and the video is very shaky.

EIS is broken in lmi since crDroid 8.0, I don't know why, but somehow this ROM breaks EIS in GCam.

Yeah, in A11 crDroid 7 it worked just fine, it's just since the jump to A12 that it got broken. Even though enabled, it just doesn't work, exactly. The difference is HUGE when it's working, the video is smooth as heck.

So I fastboot flashed twrp as boot as I think that's what you were trying to say and now it only boots to recovery and obviously still won't install the rom. All seems to go fine until it finishes backing up the google apps then I get

assert failed: update_dynamic_partitions(package_extract_file("dynamic_partitions_op_list"))

I've tried removing screen lock security before flashing and it makes no difference. I can browse through the files on my device in twrp so it doesn't seem like decryption is the problem. Any ideas?

I saw in your logs that TWRP trying to use 'default password' to decrypt partition. I has similar and re-do twrp along with boot straight to twrp helped.
But I got no idea what coudl be else now.
Could have data partition wrong filesystem or read-only mode? Did you checked this?

The data partition filesystem is listed as f2fs, is that correct?

Happened to have this issue, update to the latest version of Nikgapps which fixes this and allows the update

Clean flashed from xiaomi.eu V12.5.7.0 following instructions in build post, first flashed V13 firmware then ROM and nikgapps full

Boot screen no longer has unlocked icon
Video + audio freezes every few seconds in all app (youtube, chrome)
Volume buttons are slow to respond

Flashed V13.0.3.0.SJKIDXM and then clean flashed crdroid, still the same issues

Remove Google assistant "ok Google" and it work without freezing every 5 seconds
