Bruh, can you update the device source trees on the original post, please?
The device-common-tree link is broken;
the Kernel link isn't the one been used on the current crDroid 8.6;
and the vendor tree link isn't available on the original post.

Try this:

Instead of flashing the recommended firmware, download the full ROM based on the required firmware version.

Download the crDroid 8.6 and the Gapps.

Install the Stock ROM based on the version of the required fw from the original post (install it via fastboot) just to clean up the base.

Boot into the system.

Boot into fastboot mode (bootloader mode)

Connect your device to a PC, open a cmd window, and type in: fastboot -w – this command will format and repartition your data, fixing corrupted data.

Install TWRP 3.6.1, wipe Dalvik, cache, data internal storage, then go to format data and type yes! and transfer the crDroid ROM to a USB Stick, then install it.

Do not flash root nor the gapps!

After installing the ROM boot into the system!

If everything works well, go back to TWRP and flash the Gapps and Magisk.

Then you're done.

Hello, I really like this rom but I have the problem that I can't get google aSistant to work. I have a nickgapps package configured that I install in lineage os and it works perfectly but in this rom, it doesn't work. Can someone tell me how to fix it. Thank you

Wonderful ROM. I have been using CrDroid as a daily driver for a long time. There are a few bugs in latest A12, not critical bugs but they are there.

- EIS doesn't work, no matter the gcam or XML.
- There are some graphical glitches on Aliexpress app and sometimes in Whatsapp. When I watch a video on Aliexpress feed the skin of people becomes blue and there are some green bars, it's weird. Also I have experienced few random freezes maybe for 1 seconds or less. Maybe there is something wrong with the GPU(?)

Other than that the ROM is working fine. Thank you for developing for this device.

Same bugs solved by changing kernel but whenever listening and changing music system UI becomes buggy too

Thanks for the update. Unfortunately, audio via headphones is broken with the last version. I installed firmware 13.0.3.0 and the issue persists. In fact, this firmware also causes stuttering on video playback in several apps.

Notification sounds stopped working after flashing July 5 update via OTA.

Tried doing a clean flash to see if it resolves the issue.. it didn't.

Wired headphones is known issue and will be fixed in next build or flash module as a temp fix.
Not heard of stuttering in my TG group though.
