U should flash the latest firmware for ur device look it up on google if u have indian device u should flash v13.0.6 (firmware) i think. And if u can understand hindi i would suggest a video from tech office he gave full instructions on how to flash this rom.

I have the same error:
Error applying update: 7 (ErrorCode::kInstallDeviceOpenError)
E: Error in /sideload/package.zip (status 1)
When trying to install by sideload but I can't do the leave the OTA for 1 hour as suggested because no OTA update appears, it tells me that there is no update.
I have checked and reinstalled the suggested firmware but the problem persists

No, I wasn't. But it doesn't solve the problem either I have updated fastboot and same error.
My clean install steps...
1. I extracted boot.img with payload dumper and loaded it with fastboot.
2. I did Format data wipe in recovery mode and restarted into recovery mode.
3. I installed the latest fw build with adb sideload and rebooted into recovery mode again.
4. I installed the last build with adb sideload and rebooted

So Ampere reports that the max current is 3000mA, which goes accordingly to the information on the charger itself. Voltage is always at around 4V. So, if I'm not mistaken, it's charging at 12W max which is nowhere near the peak of 33W.
Not sure what's happening here.
At 33% charge it starts off at just about 2000mA, goes up and down in the range of 1000mA-2500mA. It's definitely slower than on stock MIUI.

Im still experiencing random reboots and even full on crashes on the latest build. Did a clean flash when i installed it. The reboots are not so common anymore, but the phone can still crash when on the lockscreen or when checking notifications. Doing a hard-reset is the only way to get it to work again.
The latest update seems decent besides the occasional reboots like the user above pointed out.
I noticed however that the MIUI camera update made all of my GCam mods work poorly? All of my Gcam pictures now look like they have a weird softening+contrast boost added to them that wasn't there before. I'll be downgrading to 18th of July for the time being.
Thanks for the development so far, though. It's still impressive work.

Upper part of the phone is getting quite hot to the touch under normal use, not even watching videos.

Edit: You might get "Couldn't load Android system properly" screen after updating to the latest build, just hit "Try again" and it'll boot normally.
If your phone doesn't recognise your password/pin/pattern on first boot, just reboot once and it'll be fine.3
Flashing full rom will update the boot image on its own.
There's no correct order for flashing firmware, it can be done before or after flashing rom without loosing data.
Why this happened? We switched to boot header v4 this month, tldr; recovery is no longer in boot image, it's stored in vendor_boot image. I was supposed to delete the latest boot image from sourceforge which I did later on.
So you can use old boot image to boot to recovery and sideload rom, since the rom contains both vendor_boot and boot images, they'll get updated to the latest.
Proper way of clean flashing roms with boot header v4 would be to flash boot and vendor_boot (contains recovery) image first, then reboot to recovery and sideload rom. This method is a bit more confusing to end user and has the same end result as the easier way of using the older boot image, so we'll stick to that.2
I don't have any of these problems. In fact, I've been struggling to find anything wrong with this ROM but can't.2

PixelOS is an AOSP based ROM, with Google apps included and all Pixel goodies (launcher, wallpapers, themed icons, google sans fonts, Monet color based system wide theming, boot animation), a fork of OG Pixel Experience with improvements on the top of it. Huge respect to Pixel Experience team for their work, thanks to them for making this ROM possible.
In short a fully functional Pixel Experience with just the right amount of essentials.

Just a quick Pre-Release build before the new security arrives, we've managed to fix OTA and a few other major issues. You might find a few new features after digging in a little, I'll be writing full changelog for nerds with a proper release build (tldr; better battery life and stability).
You can always dirty flash either via sideloading or sdcard, latest global stable firmware recommended. For users who're planning to clean flash, you can use previous build's stable recovery for flashing this build.
You'll be able to dirty flash next release build over this once its out (probably after June security patch rollout).
This build also includes the new variable refresh rate implementation from AOSPA by arter97, here's his explanation on how it works
