So after flashing the ROM it got stuck in the syberia TWRP splash screen. to solve this,
1. booted nebrassy twrp from fastboot 2. flashed Dualboot orangefox recovery 3. Flashed the rom 4. flashed Dualboot orangefox recovery again 5. Reboot to recovery 6. Flashed gapps 6. mission accomplished
The rom is butter smooth, need to check android auto, which was not working in the the last version

Again boot back to twrp and see what's happening?

Can anyone help me dirty flash on last build without formatting data?
I followed the instructions 3 pages back,but on OrangeFox recovery it says about partition selection,so i did not go ahead as i dont want to format data.

TWRP need to be updgraded? All The mess done by that ROM has no relation only way to boot is clean format
Even after that alter TWRP will cause encryption issue

Battery stats graph page is not working properly, it shows the last charged percentage as full charge regardless of what percentage it was
..also the headline font is getting reverted back to default after some time

Anyone got encryption working on the latest build? I tried it and it just reboots. Nothing happens.

I heard something similar also for other devices
just wait for twrp that could mamagethe new Android encryption
The put adb command still works, just need a different drive to write on (no /sdcard)

Does any one have mic. Issues after last update?
The mic. Works for phone calls and Google assistant, but not for other things like voice typing or recording (either normal recording or on social media like WhatsApp)

Edit: disabling hey Google fixed it!

Does anyone know this rom can recognizes the SD card in exfat format through OTG？
Every time I insert an SD card in exfat format, it prompts me that the SD card needs to be repaired, and then it is formatted as fat32

the latest update is almost bug free the google photos fixed, ringtone crashing fix while changing, in applcation image changing works now and few more goddies have been added. thank you so much.

So here is solution for twrp stuck at splash screen and rom not booting.
While first installation boot to twrp then install twrp in advance option and then go to wipe, select data partition then go to repair or change file system tab and then select change file system and change file. System to F2FS.
REBOOT TO RECOVERY AND FLASH REST PROCESS AS IT IS.
on f2fs rom. Didn't hav encryption for data partition and so twrp will not cause any issue because no encryption will be there for data in rom and in twrp itself.

So any twrp will work now

Well i usually use fastboot stock Rom,it's a lot easier then MSM tool.you need working adb and fastboot on your PC and just one click.after that if you want you can lock your bootloader.good luck

    had the same problem. turn off phone press volume up and power until you boot into fastboot, select recovery. It didnt boot into twrp, but the syberia recover. Click wipe option and press format data/factory reset. That fixed the stuck boot animation

    works for me

    was looking for installation guide for this os and the description on first page got me a littl confused so here is one in case you are also from latest OOS11 locked bootloader

    1. unlock bootloader -> this will wipe your data (do a backup)
    2. flash twrp img and in twrp flash the zip
    3. wipe your data in twrp just in case if you didn't had to unlock bootloader
    4. flash syberia os
    5. do a factory reset/format data/wipe in twrp or the recovery from syberia os (my twrp was gone after the flash)
    6. enjoy

    so far i didnt had any problems, everything works smooth after i used the OS for a while. First start of apps were kinda slow.
    For me the Animationspeed for app launches were a little slow, i recommend to speed it up by adjusting the animation speed in the dev options.
    I set it for my preference to 0.5, but 0.7-0.8 should do the trick

    The one where you type "yes" is the one that straight up formats the block device, hence no encryption. That's only done on this ROM as A12 encryption support is finnicky at best on this device. If you need work profiles on your device, I would recommend grabbing an Anroid 11 ROM. My favorite was Pixel Experience, but LineageOS with OpenGApps also ought to do the trick, and that will give you Work Profile functionality along with /data encryption by default.

    Edit: Forgot to mention that TWRP actually does support A11 encryption, but not A12 encryption, which is why the ROM maintainer suggests decrypting /data to install it.

    Pixel Experience and LineageOS both have encryption by default, unless you flashed the dm-verity disabler. In that case it will not. You'll need to MSM back to stock to re-enable encryption by default so that the DTB image has the original fstab inside, then flash either Pixel Experience or Lineage+OpenGApps. Either one of those will maintain force-encryption and allow you to use Work Profiles without issues.

    However, if you really don't want to go through redoing everything on the phone, you can also just do the /data format in TWRP, flash one of the mentioned ROMs, and use their built-in encryption menu to encrypt the phone as it will work with both TWRP and other ROMS, since it uses the device's default encryption key.

    Let me know if that works out for you, or if you need any help getting it going.

    I flashed this rom about a 2 months ago, it's working like a charm, it made me appreciate this phone again, Thank you so much.

    I'm still on 5.2 I want to update to the latest version to get the new version but I'm afraid I may screw up something I don't want to risk since the phone is working perfectly right now.

    I tried to follow the update instructions but once I reboot into recovery I only get the built in one not TWRP. is there something wrong and what's the best approach to update the rom?

    First time clean installation:

    Code: 
    - Unlocked bootloader is required
- Download ROM.zip, latest OOS 11 firmware (optional: Gapps, Magisk) and put to internal memory
- Boot into TWRP
- Once twrp booted go to "Install" -> choose ROM.zip
- Reboot -> recovery
- Go to "Install" -> choose OOS firmware.zip, Gapps.zip (optional Magisk, Gapps-Addons etc.)
- Go to "Wipe" -> Swipe for factory reset, then Format data (via "yes")
- Reboot -> System
- Enjoy.

    Updating:

    1 Orangefox recovery: disabled dm varity and forced encryption, reboot to recovery
    2 Flash syberian 12 and orangefox recovery (marking the same options) and reboot to recovery
    3 flash fw_op6.zip, flash gapps and magisk
