I can't update via settings (the built-in updater). It says Verification Failed after the file finishes download. Any fixes?
Also, if I'm updating via TWRP, do I just flash the file directly and reboot, or will I have to reinstall Magisk as well?

Looking at previous updates pushed by OP, you can dirty flash if you're on a previous build of their ROM. If coming from a different ROM or stock ROM, clean flash is essentially required. I think dirty flash, reboot to recov, flash Magisk for root should be good. Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

*edit* Updated to 4/20 release from previous release.

Disabled running Magisk modules (just in case, don't know if that's still a thing)
Reboot to TWRP
Dirty flashed
Reboot to system
Reboot back to TWRP
Flashed Magisk 24.x.APK (NOT THE ZIP)
Reboot to system
Cleared Google Play Store and Google Play Services data
Re-enabled Magisk Modules, including safetynet fix if you want root and pass SafetyNet
Reboot to system again
Passed YASNC

I've switched over to this ROM from AICP, and it seems very snappy!

One issue that I'm having is that I don't have any vibrations or notification sounds. The phone is not in DND, but maybe I've changed a setting somewhere? I can enable haptic feedback, and I can change the vibration intensity in the settings, so the vibration itself is working. Also, vibration for calls and fingerprint unlock is working.

I'm on Crdroid 12.1 Rom. Have flashed TWRP. Rebooted to recovery. Turned on ADB. Entered the command adb sideload filename.zip. keeps saying can't read file. FYI, my computer is able to detect the device and I've tried this on minimal abd and fastboot.

Dying to flash this rom. ANY HELP? Thanks!

Thanks, I think I found the solution in the derp settings, I had to enable annoying notifications.

So it looks like there might be a bug with "Annoying Notifications" where notifications don't work even when the screen is off.

and i was wonder if Derpfest suitable as a daily driver???
for banking , google pay etc. is it safe enough do yo think?!!
is it stable and safe enough or should i just roll this junk back to OOS11

I've been using it as a daily for a while. Banking apps work fine once I hid the twrp folder.

I had this when first flashing.
Check file locations (in the same folder) for me minimal worked where as a powershell failed. Not sure what's going on there, it would read android 11 roms to start with but not 12.

I just flashed in twrp. Gave mount errors but worked fine.
I flashed ROM then twrp.zip again, not using magisk but usually you have to reinstall magisk so I'd re flash after twrp.

I was facing the same issue recently with the AEX rom, what solved the problem for me is I went straight to the ABD folder and started running the adb commands from there and that did it for me. For me some how the issue was with the universal ABD that I had previously installed. So I uninstalled it and went with the normal ADB. Hope this helps
