Hello,

I followed the instructions but ended up bricking my device... I restored thanks to MSM but I really want to try this ROM.

- Can someone tell me what firmware should I be on and how can I check it ?

- What build of OOS (if it matters) should I be on ?

- Is there something specific to do about the A/B partitions or can I just flash the ROM with TWRP and reboot on system (even if TWRP warns me that no OS is installed) ?

- I went back to stock thanks to MSM
- Unlock OEM
- Boot TWRP
- Flashed fw_kebab_OxygenOS_OnePlus8TOxygen_15.O.31_OTA_0310_all_2202182359_ca105dab55fd44e6_11.0-DDR0
- Flashed DerpFest build
- TWRP Factory reset
- Reboot system

Working as expected

For other KB2007 users on this ROM, did you guys have to do anything special to get the fingerprint sensor to register OK?

I've MSMed from TMO go EU, unlocked bootloader, installed recovery (tried TWRP and OrangeFox), then proceeded to install the ROM and wipe data.

I tried multiple build dates of this ROM and turned off Dark Theme. But still cannot get any fingerprint to register either during initial setup or after. Also fails to register after installation of root and safetynet fix.

Finger Print reader worked just fine for me, without changing the Firmware to the EU variant. However, it won't detect my sim card, so not sure what is going on with that.

So you say you can initially boot into system and after that reboot into TWRP without any issues? TWRP will stay and not being replaced by another recovery?

As long as you flash TWRP to recovery partition you're good

Yeah, but I have read that TWRP doesn't work with Android 12 yet. So coming from OOS11, installing TWRP, installing derpfest and booting initially up to derpfest doesn't remove TWRP I once installed? Will I be able to boot into TWRP again after first initi Boot in order to install magisk?

It can't decrypt. You are correct on that, but this ROM on this phone comes decrypted out of the box so TWRP does work. And there is a separate recovery partition so you don't have to worry about magisk being deleted by TWRP when you flash it. If you want to be double sure, flash DFE zip after magisk and TWRP

Love this ROM. Have it on two phones. For anyone having trouble with the super partition, use a copy-partitions script. Flash the rom and immediately flash the script right after before doing anything else.
