After a reboot the problem comes back. Dear developer, 100% the problem is in Google services. When I turn services off - the problem disappears and the processor works fine. I hope you fix this problem.

After the phone is fully charged on MIUI Global, the notification LED goes out, and on PE it continues to glow.

Yes. Just adb sideload PE Plus in recovery. No need to wipe anything.

I've traced down the cause of the cpu frequency rise. It is indeed from Google's SystemUpdate stuff trying to update Pixel components on our phone. I'll work with jhen to find a solution.

The same problem exists on my device. There is overheating when using some lite applications. The CPU is constantly at max speed. Cleaning the cache of play services leads to stabilization..I tried on two devices,the result is always the same

Here's a temporary fix from another person. Note that it may affect gms's ability to process other intent.
First make sure you have Magisk.
In adb shell or Termux,

su
pm disable com.google.android.gms/.chimera.GmsIntentOperationService

Hi, I'm using this rom, it is very nice ROM.

By the way, I have trouble when I use dual SIM.
I can use mobile data on SIM1 slot, but when I switch to turn on moble data on SIM2 slot, it does not work.
It seems moble data is ON, but status is disconnected.
And when I swap the SIM card slot SIM1 and SIM2, only SIM1 slot is working.

Is there any solutions?

Have you tried using the built-in setting instead of the app? I have been using one.one.one.one since forever and I've never had any issue.

Mobile data on dual sim works fine for most people, including me.

Understand that you don't have a solution at this time. I've read that the original pixel's has a same problem after the last update from google, high cpu usage cores and battery drain. Google should release the new june update in next week, maybe there will be a solution for us too.

The non-stop SystemUpdate issue from Google has allegedly been fixed by Google. Please wait for the update to arrive at your Play store.

Alternatively, you can press Settings/Apps/See all xxx apps/Google Play services/App details, and it will redirect to the Google Play services page on Play store. Click "update" button and wait for it to finish.

This should address the CPU frequency raise and heat build-up issue caused by Google's SystemUpdate module. If it still happens after the update, let me know.

Actually I don't think Google fixed it at all. I can still see the SystemUpdate spam in logs.

Found a temporary solution. It is necessary to prohibit tracking devices nearby in the permissions of Play Services, then the frequency of the cores returns to normal. I do not know how this affects the stability of the entire system. P.S. Don't reboot your device. P.S.S. Maybe this will not work for everybody, just try another permissions.
