Your recovery are unable to decrypt data. Weird names are encrypted filesystem representation without decryption. Unfortunately only way to solve it is format data (Wipe -> Format data [not wipe data, but format]). In O-fox you can enable "Disable force encrypt". After flashing rom encryption is disabled then - this will save you from future problems like this one.
What he said works had it before fixed it . 1 question when you use it a bit can you tell me if the battery was lasting longer on miui or here.
Miui, the only small downside of this rom is a bit worse battery performance. Otherwise it's perfect

I installed the ROM but I have one problem. I can't transfer file from my PC via USB. Phone gets charge but there is no file transfer option. What should I do? I'm new to Android 12
I believe there should be a notification that comes up when you connect your phone. If you click on it, you should see some options, one of them being "file transfer".
If you don't see this notification, then your usb cable doesn't support data transfer, and you should use a higher quality cable.
I don't see this notification unfortunately. This cable works normally, I booted into recovery mode and started to transfer my files. However, it does not work on android 12. Settings > USB grayed out. Need help regarding this issue.

OK one time In will Help you. But your Problem with this Rom come from your missing knowledge. Go setting, system, Developer Options. There find the USB Option and Set it on mtp. Done

I plugged in my charger to PC via USB again. As I said before, there is no notification. My phone charges but I cannot transfer files.
Another problem, camera is weird. Check the attached image (taken from GCAM) I need fix these two problems. Any idea?
My K20 pro have a big battery drain on this version of this rom. 100% when I go sleep, and when wake up he says 80/85 that's not normal. One time I noticed 50% before sleep and 28/30 when I wake up. Fix it plz because I love EvoX but this battery drain is disgusting.
Both TWRP (unofficial version from XDA thread) and O-Fox (official version) have problem with encryption. I suggest to flash "DFE (disable force encryption)" after flashing ROM. To do this you need to format data (to clear encryption) first. You can also try another recovery (maybe some unofficial updated TWRC will be able to decrypt your data).
If you don't need to backup your data for now, you can wait for recovery update. When you find recovery able to decrypt data you can always backup data from recovery, then copy backup on PC, format data (to clean encryption), flash ROM+DFE, and finally restore your backed up data (you need to boot OS after flashing, then go to recovery and restore data).
Good news, I fixed my USB transfer problem. The problem related to cable, I understand this after trying another type c cable.
And the photo pixelate problem solved by installing NGCAM. But what is the best camera app for this ROM? GCAM seems a bit blurry to me. Original Xiaomi camera app was better for me.

I currently use a mi 9 t pro with stock miui rom (RFKEUXM). I would like to flash Evolution X (Android 12). In the quick guide it is mentioned that it is necessary to flash the latest A11 firmware before flashing the rom.
According to https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/archive/firmware/raphael/ the latest firmware is allready installed (RFKEUXM). Do I still need to flash the firmware before flashing the rom? Or is it enough to flash the rom only since the current firmware is already available with stock miui?

There are so many factors that influence SoT, like how many apps running in background, did you connect to any bluetooth devices, do you use mostly LTE or wifi, do you play games or use heavy apps, do you often get calls or emails etc.
Some tips that what I can suggest :
- disable auto brightness and lower the brightness of your screen.
- remove/disable unused apps, some apps might run in background even when not used to fetch notification
- make sure your phone have better signal coverage. bad signal coverage makes your phone work harder to acquire signal, therefore consume more battery.
- disable ambient display completely
- disable some features when not used (location, bluetooth, nfc, etc.)
- if you just freshly install a new rom, wait 1-3 days for your phone to settle down before you assess the battery life. when freshly installed rom, many things happen in background ie. checking updates, backup, configure things etc. Even you didn't notice that usually you use the phone more intensively after flashing a new rom to check new features and things, all those things consume your battery faster without you noticing and start assuming the SoT are shorter than before. Wait for a while so your phone settle down and you can start to observe your battery consumption.
I think that's all I can suggest from me, Android 12 are so optimized compared to previous version we are no longer need to install apps like Greenify anymore.1

26So here it finally is. The update with better battery life. Everything in the changelog below should be able to explain why. The switch back to AOSP BT should be a breath of fresh air as QTI BT has been causing log spams that cause battery drain. Battery capacity and cycles can now be found in the Settings app like in Android 11. Some important additions in Evolver include the ability to disable secure window flags to allow screenshotting/screen recording in apps that don't allow them as well as allowing application downgrading. Hope this satisfies everyone that has been complaining about battery life for the past months.

Reset battery stats is now added to Settings app. Light theme QS panel has been been permanently removed. Status bar toggles for mute and vibrate are now separated. Fullscreen gestures toggle has been replaced with a different implementation. Compact layout toggle is now available for 3 button navbar users. 21The new update is out! This build switches to AOSP apex (for performance improvements) and disables (buggy) Google Play system updates. Make sure to uninstall 'Main components' and 'Support components' apps after updating. If you don't have them, that's fine. To fix mobile data issues, Reset your APN settings on all SIMs. This adds several new features such as new additional features for WiFi Hotspot, adjusting blur on QS Panel, and Color-coded battery indication (replaces old battery bar feature) among other additions. Battery life should still be similar to the previous build, if not better. Also, modifications to the system partition is now allowed again.
Make sure to stick to stock kernel or kernels that support libperfmgr or else you'll be getting crashes.

32After around 20 test builds, I and other users can assure you better battery life on this new update. Deep sleep issues have been confirmed to be squashed so no need to do anything regarding that. A lot of device-side changes to further update/improve our current situation on Android 12.
Bluetooth aptX Adaptive and aptX TWS(+) are now supported as we've switched to the QTI Bluetooth stack. Skia Vulkan is now the default for UI rendering. Several improvements to audio has also been done to improve calls and music streaming. A lot of sepolicy denials have been addressed to ensure less logging during system uptime.
Extended swipe/advanced nav gestures have been removed in favor of a more stable gesture nav experience. It was causing some gesture issues, especially in apps during landscape mode. NFC icons for the status bar and QS tile have been updated (for Global and CN users) while esepowermanager and secure_element have been totally disabled for raphaelin users as they relate to NFC as well. Gboard spoof has been switched to redfin to avoid some force close issues while Play store will no longer be spoofed as app developers can apparently now block certain device fingerprints from downloading their apps.
I've been having almost 2 weeks of sleepless nights, testing and making sure everything is stable and won't cause any more battery drains.
