Your recovery are unable to decrypt data. Weird names are encrypted filesystem representation without decryption. Unfortunately only way to solve it is format data (Wipe -> Format data [not wipe data, but format]). In O-fox you can enable "Disable force encrypt". After flashing rom encryption is disabled then - this will save you from future problems like this one.hi i came from miui , after flashing latest update recovery doesn't ask password and name of files and folders (in ofox recovery) are weird ! how can i solve it ?
What he said works had it before fixed it . 1 question when you use it a bit can you tell me if the battery was lasting longer on miui or here.hi i came from miui , after flashing latest update recovery doesn't ask password and name of files and folders (in ofox recovery) are weird ! how can i solve it ?
Miui, the only small downside of this rom is a bit worse battery performance. Otherwise it's perfect
Yes.
Can anyone please confirm what all Google apps are installed as part of the ROM ?
I will be installing EvoX tomoro, wish me the best for everything to go well![]()
Awesome!
I believe there should be a notification that comes up when you connect your phone. If you click on it, you should see some options, one of them being "file transfer".Awesome!
I installed the ROM but I have one problem. I can't transfer file from my PC via USB. Phone gets charge but there is no file transfer option. What should I do? I'm new to Android 12
I don't see this notification unfortunately. This cable works normally, I booted into recovery mode and started to transfer my files. However, it does not work on android 12. Settings > USB grayed out. Need help regarding this issue.I believe there should be a notification that comes up when you connect your phone. If you don't see this notification, then your usb cable doesn't support data transfer, and you should use a higher quality cable.
OK one time In will Help you. But your Problem with this Rom come from your missing knowledge. Go setting, system, Developer Options. There find the USB Option and Set it on mtp. As soon as I connect the cable, I'm going into Notifications and I click on "Charging this device via USB", tap for more options:
and under "Use USB for:"
select "File Transfer / Android Auto"
As soon as I do that, phone's internal storage shows up in Explorer (Windows 10) under This PC / Mi 9T Pro
Of course, I can copy files as needed...
Both TWRP (unofficial version from XDA thread) and O-Fox (official version) have problem with encryption. I suggest to flash "DFE (disable force encryption)" after flashing ROM. To do this you need to format data (to clear encryption) first. You can also try another recovery (maybe some unofficial updated TWRC will be able to decrypt your data).Rom works well.
Only problem is that twrp is not asking for password, and I can't access storage through twrp. So I can't backup... Any solutions?
There are so many factors that influence SoT, like how many apps running in background, did you connect to any bluetooth devices, do you use mostly LTE or wifi, do you play games or use heavy apps, do you often get calls or emails etc.Hey how are you getting 6hrs SOT , I am merely getting 4hrs even with higher battery health.
Any tips ?
This thread is for K20 Pro/Mi 9T Pro (raphael/raphaelin) and not for Redmi Note 9s.I have installed the May 5th version on a Redmi Note 9s (miatoll).
Everything works correctly, but the phone won't connect to my car via Android Auto. Apparently, as android auto is not installed in system partition (which you can check by going to "Settings > Connected devices" to see if you have the "Android Auto" menu), the connection is not possible.
If I install Android Auto from the Play Store, it complains that in order to be able to connect to the car, it needs to be pre-installed on the device (I think it actually means to be installed in the system partition).
Does any of you have the same issue? Would it work if I flash another package of gapps on top of the ROM, to get this missing feature?
