I think burn in protection is enabled by default. It was the case with EvoX A11 at least.
Burn in protection for the status bar is a little bit overaggressive. The clock on the left side gets often cut off.
Yeah on status bar i can confirm, it works, but on AOD not, the clock and notifications still in same place for ever.
Yes, I have same problem. ROM only suggest format NTFS drive. How can we fix that?
On latest clean flashed ROM i also have issues with playing video in applications: blue colors and green artifacts. Stock kennel, no root.
Also misplaced fingerprint icon in apps but on unlock screen it displayed correctly

I also find it strange that the fingerprint prompt blocks the whole screen but not completely. The edges of the app to unlock are still visible.
Burn-in code for AOD is already in SystemUI, incase you guys had no idea.
NTFS format will be enabled for the next update as the current kernel didn't enable support for it.
Make sure you're on evolution_raphael-ota-sq1d.220105.007-01281730-unsigned.zip to avoid any of the graphical glitches.
Apps that did not update their fingerprint support for Android 12 will have it misplaced.

One question though: I clean installed the latest build, decrypted storage with DfE and I can't pass safety net check. On the previous build, storage encrypted it was okay.
Is safety net check related to storage encryption ?
If not do you have an idea why I get the "can't access to Google play service" error ?

It's unrelated. Safetynet requires the following:
- Download latest Magisk
- Download latest Safetynet fix
- Install Magisk by flashing in recovery and reboot after
- Open Magisk, install SafetyNet fix module
- Go to settings, enable Zygisk
- Enable Enforce Denylist, tap configure Denylist, tap 3 buttons on the top right, check Show system apps
- Look for Google play services
- Enable com.google.android.gms toggle
- Return to settings, Hide Magisk package
- Reboot device
- Clear data of Play store app
- Force stop Play store then re-open
- Download YASNAC and check the status

Hi guys, I have a problem with battery drain due to phone not entering doze mode, and I'd like to ask if there's a way to check why the kernel is keeping the phone awake, preferably without root.
I've disabled aod because gsam battery said that the proximity sensor was keeping the phone awake and disabling that did stop that wakelock. But now the kernel is keeping the device awake according to gsam, only there's no detail or any clue on what's the process that triggers it.
I tried to Google it but I've seen that since A10, access to processes has been restricted, so I haven't seen an answer but maybe I missed something.

There are so many factors that influence SoT, like how many apps running in background, did you connect to any bluetooth devices, do you use mostly LTE or wifi, do you play games or use heavy apps, do you often get calls or emails etc.
Some tips that what I can suggest :
- disable auto brightness and lower the brightness of your screen.
- remove/disable unused apps, some apps might run in background even when not used to fetch notification
- make sure your phone have better signal coverage. bad signal coverage makes your phone work harder to acquire signal, therefore consume more battery.
- disable ambient display completely
- disable some features when not used (location, bluetooth, nfc, etc.)
- if you just freshly install a new rom, wait 1-3 days for your phone to settle down before you assess the battery life. when freshly installed rom, many things happen in background ie. checking updates, backup, configure things etc. Even you didn't notice that usually you use the phone more intensively after flashing a new rom to check new features and things, all those things consume your battery faster without you noticing and start assuming the SoT are shorter than before. Wait for a while so your phone settle down and you can start to observe your battery consumption.
I think that's all I can suggest from me, Android 12 are so optimized compared to previous version we are no longer need to install apps like Greenify anymore.1

26So here it finally is. The update with better battery life. Everything in the changelog below should be able to explain why. The switch back to AOSP BT should be a breath of fresh air as QTI BT has been causing log spams that cause battery drain. Battery capacity and cycles can now be found in the Settings app like in Android 11. Some important additions in Evolver include the ability to disable secure window flags to allow screenshotting/screen recording in apps that don't allow them as well as allowing application downgrading. Hope this satisfies everyone that has been complaining about battery life for the past months.

23This new build reverts the switch to Pixel thermals to mi thermald for now to better handle ambient temps. Reset battery stats is now added to Settings app. Light theme QS panel has been been permanently removed. Status bar toggles for mute and vibrate are now separated. Fullscreen gestures toggle has been replaced with a different implementation. Compact layout toggle is now available for 3 button navbar users. And clicking Evolution X version in about phone has been changed. This also includes the latest version of Soviet kernel (v4.14.278).

21The new update is out! This build switches to AOSP apex (for performance improvements) and disables (buggy) Google Play system updates. Make sure to uninstall 'Main components' and 'Support components' apps after updating. If you don't have them, that's fine. To fix mobile data issues, Reset your APN settings on all SIMs. This adds several new features such as new additional features for WiFi Hotspot, adjusting blur on QS Panel, and Color-coded battery indication (replaces old battery bar feature) among other additions. Battery life should still be similar to the previous build, if not better. Also, modifications to the system partition is now allowed again.
Make sure to stick to stock kernel or kernels that support libperfmgr or else you'll be getting crashes.

32After around 20 test builds, I and other users can assure you better battery life on this new update. Deep sleep issues have been confirmed to be squashed so no need to do anything regarding that. A lot of device-side changes to further update/improve our current situation on Android 12.
Bluetooth aptX Adaptive and aptX TWS(+) are now supported as we've switched to the QTI Bluetooth stack. Skia Vulkan is now the default for UI rendering. Several improvements to audio has also been done to improve calls and music streaming. A lot of sepolicy denials have been addressed to ensure less logging during system uptime.
Extended swipe/advanced nav gestures have been removed in favor of a more stable gesture nav experience. It was causing some gesture issues, especially in apps during landscape mode. NFC icons for the status bar and QS tile have been updated (for Global and CN users) while esepowermanager and secure_element have been totally disabled for raphaelin users as they relate to NFC as well. Gboard spoof has been switched to redfin to avoid some force close issues while Play store will no longer be spoofed as app developers can apparently now block certain device fingerprints from downloading their apps.
I've been having almost 2 weeks of sleepless nights, testing and making sure everything is stable and won't cause any more battery drains.
