I think there is a mention about resetting the APN. Have you consider reverting back to MIUI and flashing back your way to Evolution, while wiping and cleaning data along the way?
I've noticed all my problems were fixed by data wiping and cleaning and only once, in the more severe malfunction, I had to revert back to MIUI and start fresh.
Obviously known bugs like overheating (previous build) are out of this scope.

I'm guessing our phones are basically the same. Therefore only external factors to the ROM, like programs, mods, hardware, can explain certain anomalies not common to other users.
These are just my 2 cents of experience.
I already tried formating and doing a clean flash as well as restarting from MIUI but it just doesn't work.
This problem appears on some updates and disapears on others it's very strange and quite bothersome.
I started wondering if it had to do with my network provider because I live in france so I use a french provider called Bouygues Telecom.

I got an issue that I thought it was due to my mobile provider. I even actually used another SIM card from a different mobile operator and I had no issues. So I thought it was due to that specific release/update. But once I reverted back to MIUI and Formatted Data, it got solved.
It seems to be a huge practical difference between Formatting and Wiping Data. To my limited knowledge, wipe just deletes the data, whereas Formating does a partition format.
I'm not saying this solves everything, but if I take as an example how Linux or Windows do their updates, there is always "trash" or "leftovers" from previous builds that mess-up with the new builds.
Have you tested with a different mobile provider?

What's really weird in my case is that while it may be broken in a version it can work the next update and won't work on the one after.
It seems almost random, if I flash Evolution 05/05 it works but in 06/16 it doesn't.
And I tried with a different SIM card but it didn't fix the problem unfortunately.

My phone is turning off automatically when the temperature rises.
This was not the case in earlier updates.
Somebody tell me how to turn it off.

Hi! I noticed that I could use all lenses without root in GCam now (by assigning auxiliary cameras Id 2 for zoom and 3 for large lens), I was wondering if by any chance I could find a setting in the app to enable 48MP mode as well. Thanks!

Hi peeps. Just installed this rom. Having problems with turbo charging. I use this 67w charger from X3 GT which triggers the Mi Turbo Charge on my phone with stock rom. At the moment, it's draining while charging. It went from 26% to 27% and then I used it, and it's now 25% after around 3-4 minutes of usage while charging. It says "Charging rapidly - Full in 8 hr" which is wack. What gives?

Edit:
I took a screenshot and it's now 24% lol
Screenshot_20220627-171900_Chrome~2.png

Edit#2:
I switched from the 67w charger to an 18w powerbank and it's charging fast on this.

Are you on a mi 9t Pro? I don't remember that this phone has mi turbo charge, it supports up to 27W of power, not more

Yeah it's a Mi 9T Pro and yes it has but only maxes out at 27w. I've been using the 67w charger for the turbo charge since November 2021 lol.

You can check it out here on this Youtube video
it starts at 3:35. "Mi Charge Turbo"

The weird thing is my 18w powerbank charges it really fast but the 67w can't even charge it properly and still drains when in use. while charging.

Looks like it was added in a miui update I wasn't aware of. Sorry!

I had the same problem more or less (I lost fast charge in an update) and it came back (15W instead of 18 but still) when I changed my charging board. But considering all the messages I have read in this thread, I think there is a software-related issue with fast charging.

I see. I'm fine with the bad charging on the 67w charger, I mostly use the powerbank to charge my phone but I'll miss the very fast turbo charge.

I believe there's also a problem with the brightness slider, this rom's brightness slider needs to be at 65% to match the stock rom's brightness slider set at 50%. And also, battery drain is real. Even when doing nothing. :(

After around 20 test builds, I and other users can assure you better battery life on this new update. Deep sleep issues have been confirmed to be squashed so no need to do anything regarding that. A lot of device-side changes to further update/improve our current situation on Android 12.

Bluetooth aptX Adaptive and aptX TWS(+) are now supported as we've switched to the QTI Bluetooth stack. Skia Vulkan is now the default for UI rendering. Several improvements to audio has also been done to improve calls and music streaming. A lot of sepolicy denials have been addressed to ensure less logging during system uptime.

Extended swipe/advanced nav gestures have been removed in favor of a more stable gesture nav experience. It was causing some gesture issues, especially in apps during landscape mode. NFC icons for the status bar and QS tile have been updated (for Global and CN users) while esepowermanager and secure_element have been totally disabled for raphaelin users as they relate to NFC as well. Gboard spoof has been switched to redfin to avoid some force close issues while Play store will no longer be spoofed as app developers can apparently now block certain device fingerprints from downloading their apps.

I've been having almost 2 weeks of sleepless nights, testing and making sure everything is stable and won't cause any more battery drains. There have been reports of improved active and idle drains in the tele group already after testing. I hope you guys enjoy and continue supporting Evo X by donating. Thanks!
