[ROM][12.1][raphael][OFFICIAL] Evolution X [06/16/22]

This new build reverts the switch to Pixel thermals to mi thermald for now to better handle ambient temps. Reset battery stats is now added to Settings app. Light theme QS panel has been been permanently removed. Status bar toggles for mute and vibrate are now separated. Fullscreen gestures toggle has been replaced with a different implementation. Compact layout toggle is now available for 3 button navbar users. And clicking Evolution X version in about phone has been changed. This also includes the latest version of Soviet kernel (v4.14.278).

I've had the phone completely freeze with screen on (had to hard reboot) few times in the last few weeks. Both times this has happened after going to home and when presumably the chip downclocks.

Thanks for the continuous updates dude! Just one question: can you explain me like I'm five why Light Theme for QS it's problematic? I know there's something wrong with that, but not what and why

It's something wrong with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth because of when I have adaptive bitrate ldac, the music pauses every few seconds and at the highest bitrate it is virtually impossible to listen. Never had this problem. I disable wifi and now music play without any problem on highest bitrate but i Think sometimes music speed up a bit.

Because the code isn't stable enough to keep messing with it. As previously stated, Google chose to remove light theme on QS to allow for better transitioning and to use less resources that strains the system since it won't have to use different colors during different theme modes.

Anyone else expierence excess heat in the last 2-3 Updates? My phone gets really warm on the upper right backside right next to the camera (on the side with the control buttonns). Its really uncomfortable after browsing chrome/reddit and such apps for a couple of minutes.

Wow, it's incredible how something apparently simple (at least, visually), it could give so many complications. Thanks for the answer, it's fascinating for me and my curiosity

-fingerprint doesn't always work when device is locked (usually for a long time, i suspect it's related to doze maybe)
-sometimes device is unbearably slow but it seems to be fixed by locking then unlocking in my short experience
-front camera motor stopped working randomly

Please let me know how to get logs and I'll try to get them next time when these issues occur.

1. Yep, I've figured, thanks for clarification!
2. Yeah, you're right, I've seen the issue mentioned but thought it was resolved on more recent builds, it's not an issue and i can live with it.
3. It's Viper4Android and other kinds of audio mods - for some reason it stops working after enabling those magisk modules and starts working fine after deleting them

Thanks once again for this really amazing and smooth ROM, it gave my device a new life

I'm listening flac audio through aptx to bluetooth earbuds and with wi-fi on all the time... working as expected, no issues here!

Sorry for the unconventional answer.
There is no major bugs. I wouldn't consider the lag after first reboot even a bug, but rather a feature. Same kind of thing happens when you apply a major update in windows.
It's how it works. Because it works just fine.
