I tried to update Magisk over the app, and selected "recovery mode" while doing so which is a big mistake.
Now I only see the Redmi logo constantly, does anyone know how I could fix that without a wipe if possible? Maybe through fastboot somehow?
Edit: The Magisk Uninstaller didn't work since Android 12 doesn't support encryption in TWRP. To fix it you must go into fastboot mode, get the boot.img (from the ROM zip) with "fastboot flash boot boot.img" and it should boot back into it without Magisk.

Why would you do that when you can just do the direct method which was recommended? Uninstall Magisk fully via recovery then reinstall.
Is there any solution for the battery drain on the latest rom? I really want to continue using it but the drain is too drastic. I'm charging 3 times a day on this rom. I can get with the weird charging issues and the random weird icons appearing when typing but the drain, I can't do it.
I have a clean flashed stock rom and using OrangeFox for recovery. I didn't use Magisk, just the rom. Any fix for the drain would help a lot.

It's turned off. I don't use NFC. I do use Bluetooth for my watch. I'll turn it off for a day or two to test but I can't use that as a fix.
I am running the June 11th build and am getting 8hrs SOT and 2 days of stand by. So suggest to format internal storage and do clean flash

Just updated: First thing I noticed: The refresh rate is now 72Hz! The device is so much more smoother that's incredible. Moreover you don't need to turn the screen off to have a smooth fps after restart. This is a real plus

Edit: enabled the status bar logo toggle and I instantly got a black screen and now I'm stuck in a bootloop. I clean flashed and for the sake of I don't know what, I tried to turn on again logo on status bar and I crashed exactly the same way. Be careful! (I have the clock centered setting if that could be linked to something)

How did you do that? I'm not able to adb sideload this update in recovery. It worked fine with all the previous ones. Are you decrypted?
sideload didn't work for me neither, i'm encrypted. But when I connected my phone to my pc I could browse its files within file explorer and I simply copy pasted the update
Alright, I managed to push the file to /tmp and apply the update from there. Unfortunately, I'm still getting the ThermalHAL-related crashes, so, once again, I'm stuck on the 06080222 update. :-(
HELP: after latest dirty update, phone goes in FATSBOOT only! I tried Xiaomi Mi Tool and the tool does not see the phone... so I cannot flash a fastboot rom 
please HELP!

im having issues with a non-original display (had to be replaced due to touch screen acting on its own... typical ghost touch), it seems smooth display is enabled by default, and its making my screen glitch, i cant see anything, its all like a white tv signal.

Joey. I hope this doesn't come off too mushy.
I remember clicking over to XDA to check for updates (i always do it manually) and saw some controversy on here. I read through a little bit of it and it looked quite hopeless (for us) and absolutely justified (for you).
All I'll say is- you don't owe us anything. I know this doesn't resonate with a lot of people who've just come here after reading a quick "How to" and are modding for the first time, but to us regulars who have been here a while, we really do understand.
My genuine piece of advice to you- filter and tune out the noise. You're experienced enough to take one glance at something and know whether it's a worthwhile critique or just an entitled breakdown.
I'm looking at gainful employment this coming month. I'll show my appreciation to you with more than words as soon as I'm able!
Thank you for keeping my (our?) device now in its fourth year, feeling fresh. Original battery, SOT ~7+ hours still.

27I've decided to leave the telegram group and to only continue posting updates here alone. I'm tired of the constant whining about random apps crashing (without any proper logs), requests to switch back to Mi thermal or whatever non-sense whichever user may think is beneficial to the ROM. Everything beneficial is either already included or unavailable for a reason.25A new patreon page has been added to my link tree page. That gives everyone more options than ko-fi or PayPal or BMAC regarding tips.
Here's the deal. In order for us to move forward, I will have to reach an agreement with everyone that there will be a single confirmed update per month for this device. Additional updates may be done if necessary, but now there will be only 1 update per month.
I will no longer entertain weird/random/nonsense questions and I will only handle the bug reports that have been properly explained. Anyone that will tag me regarding something known already or being worked on, will be ignored.
If you think this is unfair, you may leave the ROM. This ROM isn't requiring users to install it. It's up to everyone if you will stay.
I'm only doing this for those who have been here from the start. Those who have been supportive and respectful. It's unfair for them who have stayed loyal if they will also lose their home. 32After around 20 test builds, I and other users can assure you better battery life on this new update. Deep sleep issues have been confirmed to be squashed so no need to do anything regarding that. A lot of device-side changes to further update/improve our current situation on Android 12.
Bluetooth aptX Adaptive and aptX TWS(+) are now supported as we've switched to the QTI Bluetooth stack. Skia Vulkan is now the default for UI rendering. Several improvements to audio has also been done to improve calls and music streaming. A lot of sepolicy denials have been addressed to ensure less logging during system uptime.
Extended swipe/advanced nav gestures have been removed in favor of a more stable gesture nav experience. It was causing some gesture issues, especially in apps during landscape mode. NFC icons for the status bar and QS tile have been updated (for Global and CN users) while esepowermanager and secure_element have been totally disabled for raphaelin users as they relate to NFC as well. Gboard spoof has been switched to redfin to avoid some force close issues while Play store will no longer be spoofed as app developers can apparently now block certain device fingerprints from downloading their apps.
I've been having almost 2 weeks of sleepless nights, testing and making sure everything is stable and won't cause any more battery drains. There have been reports of improved active and idle drains in the tele group already after testing. I hope you guys enjoy and continue supporting Evo X by donating. Thanks!
