hello I installed this ROM, though I have two main problems:
1) it erased the TWRP. I had android 11 custom ROM and now I installed this ROM. When I go to recovery there is Leanege recovery. When I am trying to install again TWRP at power shell shows me waiting for devices. I assume it is a drivers problem. I have Windows 11. I downloded qualcom drivers, no luck
2) This ROM does not have GAPPS so how Am I suppose to install GAPPS without TWRP?
upadate: I have overcome the drivers issue but then when it seems to install TWRP then again loads LEANEAGE OS ANY SOLUTION? I am also pressing volume up and power off and loads to LEANEAGE RECOVERY AGAIN!
PLEASE HELP!!!

Do not select the lineageos recovery option in the boot wizard, otherwise it will replace your third-party recovery. To undo lineageos recovery you have to go to settings/system/updater/preferences and turn off the update recovery option. Then use fastboot to re-flash into twrp.

I did not find the wizard. I followed settings/system/updater/preferences and turned off the update recovery option, twrp seemed to be installed but no luck again this bloody leaneage recovery mate...cant install TWRP!!!

The wizard refers to the lineage wizard that you clean install and boot for the first time. Use fastboot to flash twrp instead of lineageos recovery.

I am using fastboot mate.: ./adb devices (mi max 2 is recognised) ./adb reboot bootloader (loads to bootloader), .\fastboot flash recovery twrp.img (latest image), .\fastboot reboot recovery (when I am trying to reboot to recovery does not go to TWRP BUT to leage).
I also typed: .\fastboot format userdata but no luck at all !
I do have experience on custom ROMs but first time I am facing such a horrible thing!

Go to my group for help, the problem has nothing to do with the rom thread.

Wow, thanks for the updates! I love this phone and fear the day it dies :D I recently managed to buy a second used one from an old lady as a backup haha!!

I only have a small issue right now and that is it can't connect to hidden WiFis. It works with visible one's though so that's a workaround for me right now.

cheers!

It's a great rom, thank you.
I need a little help:
when I make a call and place the phone on my ear the sound start to interrupt, I think this is a proximity sensor problem, because if I just keep some space between my ear and the phone it didn't do this.
I added some code to system/build.prop: ro.lge.proximity.delay=150 and mot.proximity.delay=150, but it didn't solve my problem.

Any other idea?

Does anyone else have problems updating using TWRP? I have the latest for oxygen 3.6.2 but after I install and setup my device and go back to recovery I can't mount data. OTA just goes black screen after 20%. I can fix it by doing it all over with formatting data but then all my apps are gone again etc.

If I try t repair Data I get "userdata process ended with Error 8"

Could the error be that I use ext4 as format?

I think I messed up, I installed the TWRP from their website (9-0), not the one you linked.

Yep, that was the issue^^

Welp, looks like Android 7 (the latest version supported by the last official ROM) is causing tons of troubles and many apps now require higher android versions so it's time to go down the unofficial ROM path. Noob question : Is there a way to load this ROM and somehow keep the apps and app settings from the one I'm currently running? Will save a lot of time not needing to setup everything from scratch.

Thanks for the effort you guys are putting into keeping the phone still relevant.

Try backing up with Titanium Backup, disclaimer in advance, you need to bear the risk that the data cannot be recovered.

LineageOS is a free, community-built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 14 (U), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    /*
    * Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
    *
    */

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    What's working?
    Fingerprint
    RIL
    Mobile data
    DT2W
    Camera

    Flashing Instructions:
DO NOT use any custom recovery

    - Flash the recovery
    - fastboot wipe-super super_empty.img
    - Reboot to LOS recovery
    - Select `Factory reset" --> "Format data/factory reset`. You phone should say that /data, /cache, and /metadata have been formatted.
    - Go back to main menu and select "Apply update" --> "Apply from ADB"
    - Connect your phone to a computer
    - Run `adb sideload rom_file_name.zip` in your cmd/powershell/terminal and wait until it finishes
    - Reboot and enjoy
