Read this & you need to do fastboot -w if you're using official latest Twrp. Then flash rom.

How to use the resize tool？
The zip file provided here seems to be different from the one provided in the original post, and I don't know how to use it.

Don't use it. This rom needs different one which is mentioned in post already. Refer this.

Should i apply the patch on lineageos-ul or the original lineageos code? Sorry but i don't know much about rom building...

I think you should use lineageos-ul directly, saves time.

Hi and thanx for your job. I have a redmi 2 wt86047 and followed theses instructions (https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/wt88047/install) to install lineageos 19.1 and it failed because, i think, size partition pb. So i installed lineage-14.1-20171125-nightly-wt88047-signed.zip and all is fine except call phone with sim card ("desable fly mode" but it don't - no service). So i should be interested to try lineageos 19.1 with android 12. Do i have to follow your process with fastboot -w or not ?

Hi again, so i installed lineageos 19.1 and again i have no gsm connexion. The antena is good because until i installed lineageos i get gsm network.

I have a redmi 2 wt86047 HM 2014813
I succeeded after full of process. Here is the good way for me with my redmi :
- fastboot -w
- Install recovery twrp-3.2.1-wt86047.img via fastboot
- turn off the phone
- insert Sdcard with :
resize_wt88047x_v6.zip
wt86047-firmware_20161223.zip
lineage-14.1-20171125-nightly-wt88047-signed.zip
- reboot on TWRP : wipe, install resize_wt88047x_v6.zip
- then always with TWRP install wt86047-firmware_20161223.zip (for the modem i suppose)
- on TWRP install lineage-14.1-20171125-nightly-wt88047-signed.zip
And now all is working except front cam.
I tried to flawh recovery.img from lineage-19.1-20220528-UNOFFICIAL-wt88047x.zip. but with this lineageos recovery the phone was not recognize on my Mac with android file transfer. So i was note able to do adb sideload to flash the rom.

Do you thing i have a possibility to flash lineageos 19 ?`

This is something I planned to do, but I currently have to deal with my finals. Might do it next month.

Using it as my main phone for a while and got these bugs:
1. After using the phone for a few hrs without restart ( 4 hrs approx) the data and wifi stops working mobile data shows signal but not LTE or any thing it gets fixed for sometime after restart
2. I flashed MindTheGapps nearly everything works fine but except nearby share or any other file sharing app by Google the shows the error - pairing code is incorrect.
Hope you will fix it will in the next build it is the only phone that I have So i will (or can ) Report every time I find a bug .

icon pack and font switcher can be installed through PlayStore, i use Pure Icon Pack(non-root) and FontFix(root required).

I was trying others custom roms and one custom rom required more system partion space so I used this tool to increase sys partion: https://xdaforums.com/t/twrp-aroma-wt88047-resize-system-partition-easily.3803042/
And now when I try to wipe data and go back to los 19.1 while flashing resize tool you provided this error comes up please help

You need to reflash stock ROM, or use the tool provided to resize to the appropriate size.

my device is redmi 2 prime 2014818. It's currently running on android 5.1.1, i want to install custom rom "lineage-19.1-20230501-UNOFFICIAL-wt88047x.zip".
To do this i did following steps-
1. i downloaded platform-tools in windows. then installed twrp recovery using "adb flash recovery recovery.img" command
2. rebooted device to twrp recovery mode and build backup successfully.
3. then swithched to wipe>advanced wipe and selected data, system, cache and wiped successfully.
4. then i install "resize_wt88047x_v6.zip"
5. then install "wt88047-firmware_V9.2.5.0.LHJMIEK"
6. when i tried to install by "lineage-19.1-...." file using ADB sideload it gives error "Failed to update system image.
what should i do ?
