This happened with me too it dims down on the lockscreen and you can't do anything other than shut down in that too u need to figure out where are the buttons later i flashed into hades rom for a change

i tried Lineage os 20 but a bug happen if u install pixel launcher. System UI crashing with pixel launcher cause of recent apps animation. I think Pixel Experien 13 has not have a but on pixel launcher cause it's include pixel apps and features all ready in system

For now I'm using lawnchair, let's see if anyone got a fix.

hello, with this rom, you can't start the galaxy note 8 laptop without going through facial recognition, it's really incredible, and of course impossible to access the settings, I've never seen that, the rom has look very beautiful

Android 13 builds are out in BETA.
Please note there will likely be missing features that will come back in future builds. Plus builds next year sometime. OTA updates will not be enabled during beta phase.

When I first installed this ROM, it was running smoothly with absolutely no issues except for the camera, which was to be expected. But for the past couple of months my phone keeps freezing on seemingly anything I do, randomly. I open YouTube, it freezes for 5 to 50 seconds, I go on the browser and it freezes, I bring up the keyboard and it freezes, I scroll and it freezes. And sometimes it doesn't. But more often than not, my phone is completely crapping itself.

What can I do to fix this? Has anybody else experienced the same as me with the ROM?

This happened to me too. It was caused by that bedtime mode thing that gives you grayscale. It happened to me reproducible when rebooting (after an empty battery or manually) with that thing still active.
Try to disable it as soon as it pops up when starting the phone. You should be able to see where it pop up just before the screen turns black. It should return to full brightness immediately. Just make shue you disable it in the settings so this doesn't happen again.

try clearing cache and delvik and reboot
