It charges, but I can't do anything else.

Nothing to do with the ROM. If your device isn't being recognized at all then it's your driver's.
adb sideload is done from recovery, not within the ROM. If your phone is not seen by adb inside recovery, you have serious issues!
It most certainly is broken for some folks. I have posted about it few times and some other folks have also run into issues after OTA which got cleared after dirty flash from adb sideload.
"Works for me" is an OK response, but it does not mean its not broken for some.
Flashing through OTA installs the same exact payload flashing through adb does. Please elaborate, because I find your assessment hard to believe. That includes logs and detailed reports, not some bland statement. I have thoroughly tested USB on my Linux an windows machines as well as OTG on my devices themselves both after ota and sideloading with no issue related to such.
Is the SLIDER working in all 3 steps? For me its working only 2 steps. The top position is not getting detected. Can switch between RING and VIBRATION but SILENT doesn't detect.
Whats worse is if i suddenly switched from bottom position to too position then nothing changes, ie, it stays in Ring mode only.
Tried all other options like flashlight, brightness but top position is not working with this ROM.

I've heard of this before and it's either due to hardware fault or corrupted persist partition.
I can confirm its not the hardware issue. I just 2 days back came to this ROM from OOS 12 it was working just fine and i hse it regularly. After upgrading to this ROM i had this issue. Atleast the bottom and middle positions work so thats OK. But if i accidentally switch from Bottom position to TOP then it doesn't even go to vibrate mode so in meetings i had to be careful.
Some other issues i had so far (very minor though)
1. Speaker phone was bot working in WhatsApp call. I could only hear from earpiece though speaker option on screen was shown activated
2. The slider issue mentioned above
3. Gmail app notifications aren't working while in background, currently this is most irritating. Unless i open app it doesn't notify. Checked all battery optimizations. Had this issue in OOS c.12 but after OOS c.17 and c.20 updates it worked well.
The ROM experience so far has been great and thanks a lot to all the devs and the EvolX team.
I try the latest version today and turn on the 'always on display' and 'pocket detection'. If i lcok my phone and put it into my pocket, then can't wake the screen sometimes
I had posted logcat output when I reported my first failure and have the potential to have gone as deep in analysis as you wanted. But you pretty much ignored it.
You can check my posts if you are really curious but I am past this already.
I was hurry today when updated new OTA and made that mistake that i was rebooted without Magisk. Now root is gone.... Is it adb sideload or using payload dumber. Or is there alternatives?

Seems like status bar icons fit problem with latest versions. Moreover, everything is fine in the curtain. If I disable vibrate icon for example, everything is fitting well.

I flashed the last OTA and then flashed magisk in the inactive slot. As the last time i tried, i get a wierd behavior of my OP8P: i can't get access to data partition and i have no connecrion (no data and no wifi). The last time i solved sideloading the update with ADB, but now it doesn't work. I also tried to change the active slot or uninstall magisk but nothing change.
Any suggest to recover my phone without a facorty reset?

i can vouch for u as i pretty much did the same , was on the latest 6,6 update all u have to do is flash the vbmeta and adb side-load the copy partition and ur good to go its pretty straightforward , then just update like normal side-load. I know, some of you want to know how that is done, but let me warn you: We are not supposed to do this. There might be dragons.
I had the recovery and the fw.zip (C20) for my LPDDR version. If you don't have this, you MIGHT be able to just flash vbmeta and copy_partitions but I do not know this route. I can only tell you what I did:
- flashed the recovery from post #1.
- booted into it, then went to "advanced --> enter fastboot" (fastbootd)
- I then flashed every partition from the fw.zip (LPDDR5)
- I tapped on "go back to recovery", went to "apply update --> apply from ADB"
- Then I sideloaded evoX 6.7.
- I then simply rebooted the phone. By the way: My macOS terminal said something like: unknown error: 0. I rebooted anyway (0 is always a nice exit code).
- It seems to have worked just fine, only I have to go through the process of payload_dumping a boot partition and reinstalling Magisk again, but I would have to do this anyway, right?

Before every restart, after ota installation, it is mandatory that you let magisk install itself to the inactive slot. So you don't have to do all of this again. -

Warp/Vooc charging on 8/8Pro has been fixed as of this morning and OTA's have already been pushed. Lock screen will report warp charging now as well and that portion will be fixed for 8T/9R when they receive updates.7
We fixed warp/vooc charging yesterday. Included in the updates I released a few minutes ago.

Welp, looks like 8/8Pro still have some issues. 8T/9R seem to be working though7

It sounds like you had a right to have your ROM fixed.
Long story short: you don't.
@AnierinB has a real life. He creates his own ROM and shares it with us. I'm sure he uses his available freetime to make the best ROM he can and give it away for free!

1. Have an unlocked bootloader & be on OOS 12 (C20 - C33).
2. Download copy_partitions, vbmeta, recovery, and rom for your device from here
3. Reboot to bootloader
4. fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
fastboot reboot recovery
5. While in recovery, navigate to Apply update -> Apply from ADB
6. adb sideload copy_partitions.zip
7. adb sideload rom.zip (replace "rom" with actual filename)
8. Format data, reboot to system & #KeepEvolving
