Try using CMD not PowerShellhi for adb sideload we need to push the ZIP right ?
I am getting error :
Code:adb sideload .\evolution_instantnoodle-ota-sp2a.220505.002-05290241-unsigned.zip loading: '.\evolution_instantnoodle-ota-sp2a.220505.002-05290241-unsigned.zip' * cannot read '.\evolution_instantnoodle-ota-sp2a.220505.002-05290241-unsigned.zip' * PS D:\OP8\Evolution X>
I already tried the "Make Windows Aware of “Large ADB Address” but didnt work.
can i not copy the ZIP manually and invoke the update ?
I always use CMD. the issue however was with the ADB. downloaded v33 from google and that worked however it corrupted my device as mentioned in previous posts.
iMobile working with AirFrozenmethod. Need to freese rhe magisk app and then Run the iMobile app. Wonder how iMobule is detecting the MagisI always use CMD. the issue however was with the ADB. downloaded v33 from google and that worked however it corrupted my device as mentioned in previous posts.
had to again MSM, unlock bootloader, fastboot to latest EvolX, Magisk Root.
unfortunately again now banking apps are not working. dont know what worked before. tried all combinations but this stupid app doesnt work (iMobile and Axis)
It's working fine here too.Hi @AnierinB I just wanted to say thanks for fixing the night light scheduled on/off in the latest build.
Doesn't work on accubattery, that's why I asked. OOS 11 was able to.Not OOS12, but 11 did. Try installing DarQ. It's an Xposed module that works very well for forcing apps into dark mode.
Got it. FYI, OOS12 doesn't have the force apps in dark mode feature anymore. So I doubt the developer would add it since there's already apps available. I'm sorry it doesn't work for a specific app, but you'd probably have better luck reporting the issue to the creator of DarQ.Doesn't work on accubattery, that's why I asked. OOS 11 was able to.
Is anyone experiencing any green background instead of black? Ive been noticing a sudden change while using my phone on a daily basics and it's been happening many times where the screen would just change to green-like tint instead of the normal dark. I only restart everytime it happens to fix it but issue still exists. And no Night light turned on.
hmm...that's interesting. So, they took away a feature! Typical, OnePlus...lollGot it. FYI, OOS12 doesn't have the force apps in dark mode feature anymore. Exactly. Stock OOS12 is awful, IMO.hmm...that's interesting. So, they took away a feature! Typical, OnePlus...loll
That's why leaving c20 fw.zip around would have been a good move. No need to update it every time there is a new firmware. I don't care about OOS firmware much.
> Updating the firmware isn't hard to do on your own.
If you know of a method that doesn't involve wipe everything and go back to stock OOS 12, please let me know.
i can vouch for u as i pretty much did the same , was on the latest 6,6 update all u have to do is flash the vbmeta and adb side-load the copy partition and ur good to go its pretty straightforward , then just update like normal side-load. Thanks @AnierinB for the amazing ROMYou actually don't have to clean flash 6.6 or 6.7. if updating
What I did keep my data was, update my firmware, then dirty flash. Worked like a charm! Except I had to reinstall Magisk.
TESTED ON ONEPLUS 8 YOUR RESULTS MY VARY! IM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU TRY YOU TRY THIS, F IT UP, AND BRICK YOUR PHONE!!!
maybe this could help (haven't tested it)how do i get oos12 I am on oos11 and no updates are displayed (oneplus 8t)
Hey guys, I just finished dirty-updating from 6.5 to 6.7 without issues.
I know, some of you want to know how that is done, but let me warn you: We are not supposed to do this. There might be dragons.
I had the recovery and the fw.zip (C20) for my LPDDR version. If you don't have this, you MIGHT be able to just flash vbmeta and copy_partitions but I do not know this route. I can only tell you what I did:
- flashed the recovery from post #1.
- booted into it, then went to "advanced --> enter fastboot" (fastbootd)
- I then flashed every partition from the fw.zip (LPDDR5)
- I tapped on "go back to recovery", went to "apply update --> apply from ADB"
- Then I sideloaded evoX 6.7.
- I then simply rebooted the phone. By the way: My macOS terminal said something like: unknown error: 0. I rebooted anyway (0 is always a nice exit code).
- It seems to have worked just fine, only I have to go through the process of payload_dumping a boot partition and reinstalling Magisk again, but I would have to do this anyway, right?
Before every restart, after ota installation, it is mandatory that you let magisk install itself to the inactive slot. So you don't have to do all of this again.

Warp/Vooc charging on 8/8Pro has been fixed as of this morning and OTA's have already been pushed. Lock screen will report warp charging now as well and that portion will be fixed for 8T/9R when they receive updates. No - fastcharge for 8 and 8p are not fixed yet. 8T and 9R do fastcharge, but lock screen display doesn't work
This is considered rude!Device always slow charging? Why still no fix for that? Other roms have it fixed!!! Also, when using fp there is a tint on it. Thank you
