Look a few posts up, it simply doesn't work, it's greyed out mate.

I'd like to be able to turn off permissions if i can.

I tried elemental X and it bootlooped, so don't bother with that one.

I've just stuck with what it comes with, as it's fast and battery's good..

Well that's probably because elemental x only supports the 8 and 8 pro not the 8T

I actually forgot where I was speaking in I'm on the OnePlus 8T I don't know what device you were testing ElemX on but I'm on the OnePlus 8T

I'm not using the 8T dude, i have an 8 Pro

It didn't work because it's Evo X, Elemental X is for OOS only, even though the Elemental X kernel app will advertise it to you, just don't install it.

Why might I not be able to flash Magisk v23? Tried via apk & boot.img patch. Tried via fastboot flash from a windows 11 terminal. Tried via TWRP 3.0.7 b11 to no avail.

What's the issue? I had no problem using the patched method. I did use magisk canary though

Tested the radioactive kernel as I'd heard good things for this ROM.

Changed nothing besides what I'd normally change.. lowered max CPU on all cores, minimum on small cluster couldn't be lowered any more than 612Mhz..... left it to settle over a week.

Outcome was about 2 hours less over a cycle..

Maybe it could be on par with some tweaks but off the bat it wasn't close to the stock Evo kernel.

I really like the pixel launcher that comes with this ROM, it's smooth and performs well.

But does anyone know how to change icon size whilst retaining the default grid size?

I'd like to avoid a third party launcher like nova if I can as this launcher is a lot smoother, not faster but smoother.

Any ideas?

PS: pixel mods doesn't help either

I think this project is dead unfortunately

I'm pretty confident that it's not dead as evo x sources are already updated to Android 12. It's just the 8 series didn't get the update yet. The dev is most probably busy with building evo x sources.

You can use lawnchair it's almost a exact replica of pixel launcher

This custom rom turned my phone into a beast in a benchmark and my personal experience it scored higher than the OnePlus 8 pro oneplus8T with this ROM 732500 OnePlus 8 pro on stock 676000 this was just according to the leaderboard so people who actually have the OnePlus 8 pro and the 8t but for my personal experiences this rom just perfect thanks Evolution x

Yea I know mate, but battery burns a little bit quicker with it, that's why I'm asking.

Plus the pixel launcher is a little smoother too and more consistent over time..

Also don't need a second app for Google feed.

But yep am aware of the other launchers..
