I can confirm that disabling DRC or any audio improvements module or disabling Dolby audio doesn't solve the issue and still results in very bad audio quality over Bluetooth specially with the AAC codec. SBC sound "okay" but still under performing comparing to OOS.

I have a similar issue. I disable Dolby in favour of v4a, but the issue persists. It's like the connection with the BT device is unstable - like the devices are too far apart even though they are inches away from each other.

To be fair, when they are next to each other it works fine - it also works fine in my car. But if I move my phone more than 4 inches away from the soundbar on my desk I get this issue.

Where do you change the fingerprint color? I only have the option to change the icon in the EvoX settings app. Thank you!

Is possible to install the latest rom version after installing Oxygen12? I guess Oxygen 12 upgrades the firmware version to 12.

Thanks

Experiencing the same problem on my another device(K20Pro) with EvolutionX installed too. It just don't show any response after connecting with USB cable (not to mention adb), on MacOs, Ubuntu and Windows, only battery charging is still working.

But the culprit is when i reboot to fastboot, somehow the fastboot command can detect it and execute commands.

Hope someone can find me a way to solve this : -(

The ways i have tried (which is not working) :

1. Use different cable
2. Reinstall driver
3. Switch the OS of PC
it works for me until I click to use USB as a MIDI, then all options are grayed out. Have you solved this problem?

Only one day with this ROM and I found 3 problems...

I have to admit, the number of questions that get asked here that were already answered in a previous thread/op are getting to be a bit ridiculous. But I suspect the question is not "Can I flash this after upgrading to OOS 12" but is in fact, "Can I revert to OOS 11 after having upgraded to OOS 12 so that I can flash this ROM". And the answer to that question is, maybe, probably. I have definitely heard reports of some people being unable to use MSM after upgrading to OOS 12, and if that's you, I haven't done enough research to say if thier are any solutions for that. But if MSM works, then your solution is as easy as MSM ing back to the latest 11 (make sure to do this twice, once for each slot) available through MSM, OTA'ing up to the latest 11 available, and then flashing this ROM.

Another bug that I've noticed which is a big privacy issue is related to the "App Lock". Some apps automatically get removed from the App Lock list after some time (couple of days). It might be related to app updates, that is, an app that gets auto-updated gets removed from the App Locker, but I'm not 100% sure.

Hi everyone!

First, thank you for the great ROM. Pixel experience, stock camera and good performance is exactly what I was looking for from a custom ROM.

The only thing that disturbs me is the battery drain of AOD: it drains 3.2-3.6% battery per hour.

How much battery does AOD drain for others? Does someone happen to know how much did it drain on stock OOS?

For the sake of experiment, I keep my system clean (pretty much no apps besides the pre-installed ones) and measure consumption overnight - just keep my phone still for 9 hours. With AOD off, the battery consumption is only 0.2% per hour.

I tried turning on Airplane Mode and Idle Manager, and flashing Radioactive kernel (now back to Evolution’s kernel), but the battery drain stays same.

Is there an option to change the screen refresh rate or the UI resolution? I can see that it was there before (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...lution-x-6-5-06-17-2022.4276623/post-85268767), but it’s not there anymore. I noticed that AOD is running at 120hz. Switching it to 60hz could help battery.

Someone mentioned wakelock blocker option (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...lution-x-6-5-06-17-2022.4276623/post-85772341), which is also not in settings anymore. Could it be relevant for this case, or it was removed intentionally?

Thanks for attention.

Hey!
It seems from the latest update, screen cast does not work anymore. It used to work on previous builds. It get's stuck at connecting. Thr TV sees the phone as connected, but no stream is being sent.

Thanks!

I just updated this ROM to the latest version using sideload. The phone booted normally. Then, I went to change some settings in the revolver app (Status bar menu) and the phone went blank. Tried to restart the phone but now its stuck on bootloop and says 'data is corrupt' in the recovery.

Is there any way to factory reset phone without losing data? I am fine with deleting apps / settings, need the internal card data though. Tried adb pull sdcard, but it does not pull anything.

Rom works very smooth. Only problem is that when you minimise a Youtube / Youtube Music video into the mini player, when you scroll for new videos / music, it switches to 60hz and 120hz intermediately about every second. If the video isn't playing, I get none of this glitching during scrolling. Please could you fix the issue, thanks again for the hard work, otherwise a great custom rom for my OnePlus 8 Pro IN2020.

Well, if you had read this threads op, you'd have easily found the solution.

Has the threads original posts installation instructions changed? 🤔 no, it hasn't.

Already fixed and will be available on the next build.
Perfect. Thank you. I was on OOS for 2 years and this ROM has been a life changer.

You can't. The sensor is calibrated to use a specific color. Changing it would most likely cause more issues.

Hi @AnierinB I just wanted to say thanks for fixing the night light scheduled on/off in the latest build.

Turning off pocket mode fixed the screen issue for me.
Turning off 'prevent accidental wakeup' seems to fix it for me. Pocket detection didn't matter on or off.

    1. If you happen to experience display jitter/color discoloration after initial install/format data, go into Display settings and set min/max refresh rate to 60hz and then back to 120hz/90hz (fixed across subsequent boots)

    2. In order to use ultra wide lens via OOS camera, you need to disable ultra wide lens correction in the apps settings.

DO NOT FLASH GAPPS, ALREADY INCLUDED

    VvzRh0K.png

Official A12 builds are coming soon, just ironing a few things out. The constant whining and ETA's are rather annoying, so please refrain from doing so and keep in mind my life doesn't revolve around Android.

Built in Dolby & OnePlus camera support will be available in the next releases! Stay tuned & #KeepEvolving!

Initial builds for Android 12.1/Evo 6.2 have been released!

I strongly recommend users clean flash, although it is not required.

Do keep in mind this was an entire source rebase and not just a security patch merge. Not all features from previous releases will be present.

Just a small list of notable features included (not the full list):
    • Applock
    • DeviceExtras (all previously enabled features & now in 6 languages!)
    • Dolby
    • FaceUnlock
    • OOSCAM
    • IR/Photochrome
    • PowerShare
P.s, Also aligned status bar icons with camera cutout and adjusted corners (no more odd artifacts)
