Pixel Experience has a dedicated custom recovery which you can download from PE website

Should I follow their step by step procedure on installing the rom or there's other way to install this ??

does anybody have a knowledge of working stock rom with latest update? I have tried V13.0.2.0.SJDEUXM_20220329 (Europe), V13.0.3.0.SJDMIXM_20220507 (Global), V12.5.10.0.RJDMIXM_20220322(Global). I'm flashing the stock rom with Miflash and everything works in stock rom but when I install PixelExperience_Plus_apollo-12.1-20220526, system won't boot and PE's recovery says something like corrupted data. Strangely when I flash with XiaomiToolsV2 with the exact V13.0.3.0 Global rom which XiaomiToolsV2 found, system will boot as expected and everything seems fine but my system storage shows only 16 GB which my phone has 128GB.

Edit: Turns out I just needed to format the data from TWRP. Simple solution but took many hours

The exact error massage was "can't load android system. your data may be corrupt"

Yeah, thanks to this ahole why we got f**k'd. I hope we can get CHENYANG ZHONG as a replacement. But with this bad rep within our community device, the chance is slimmer than an atom

It does work. The interface just doesn't show it. You can figure it out yourself via a third-party battery checker

I've had the ROM freeze twice in about 2 weeks and I guess a missing feature would be that the camera app (or any of them) won't use any other camera but the main one. So the ultrawide isn't used at all.

I mean, he wasn't fully in the wrong.
The ROM didn't get updated for 3 months while it was still full of bugs, so no hate towards Zidan, but someone with more time should pick it up, simple as that. Until then, we'll have to wait.

I donated to help the project but unfortunately our device is out of luck. I recommend using LineageOs + NikGApps, it's practically the same experience as with Pixel Experience. They also have a very active and friendly community.
