This is how it looks and you can just power it off from there
And this is what i've got (see ss):

1st button is snooze and 2nd is switch off (alarm is working and everything is good)

The only thing that i don't understand is why it comes in heads-up mode instead of full screen like your screenshot like other roms.. Do i have to activate something in particular?

thanks to dev, a totally smooth install from oos.

just wondered if it is possible at some stage to allow separate gapp install, as the number of google apps that comes with the rom is quite jaw dropping for anyone used to micro/nano level of provisions...

After cleaning flashing this ROM while following the new installation steps for the latest 04 29 build my play store is broken. I have followed all the troubleshooting steps including clearing app cache and data and uninstalling updates... the same with Google Play services. I have factory reset my device multiple times now in the last 24 hours. I have a 300mbps speed internet plan so its not slow internet either. Whatever I do Play Store just won't download apps. By chance some small size apps that I tried did get installed but I'm not able to update apps or download new ones. The exact symptoms are... after I hit the install button on any app "Waiting to download" or downloads stuck at 54% sometimes stuck at 72% and sometimes stuck at 99% after waiting for a long time I get an error saying that play Store cannot download the app.

I have also attached a logcat taken while the download was stuck.

Tried all the troubleshooting steps from this and still not fixed.

R u in usa? Try flashing latest google play services apk via sideloading

India. I can install apks from file explorer and they install but nothing from google play store.

Side note: This has begun ever since I changed data partiton to f2fs from ext4 from chinese twrp... i flashed derp immediately after that obviously but i have evn flashed msm tool gone back to oos with locked bootloader and i still get the play store issue which is really really strange!

ek:kernel:0x0:sleep:0x19f:....

device_restart_work_hdlr

but rebooting works fine. anyone else had this issue?

thank you

Only when using Android auto mine would go to qualcomm dump mode. I haven't had it happen any other time.

I stumble on one issue, may only pertain to me.

I plugged my data cable to my PC, and Handset.

My goal being to use fastboot , to boot twrp and flash a kernel.
Although when connected my machine doesn't recognize the phone. Usually change the USB settings an this fixes it, but they seem to be greyed out.

EDIT :

Fix by going to developer settings , and switching USB default to File transfer

I'm running into a problem on the last build: NoNavBar on substratum lite cannot be installed. It either gets stuck on the installation screen or gives that error in the screenshot. Anyone experiencing the same problem? On the previous build it was working perfectly.
I also did a clean flash and reinstall Rom to make it work but it still doesn't, so I'm pretty sure its a problem of this build.

EDIT: I installed normal substratum and navigation gestures mod 2.0. It works fine now.

        fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
        fastboot reboot recovery
    3. When on this recovery (it's similar to LOS one), select Factory Reset > format data
    4. On this step, you can select either format scheme, F2FS or ext4 ( I highly recommend F2FS)

    5. After format is done, click on the back arrow on top left, and click on "APPLY UPDATE", then "APPLY FROM ADB"
    6. Now, on your PC, do the following command:
adb sideload *insert your derp zip package name here* (sometimes, you should get an error, that gives you an option to continue or not, hit "yes" to continue, that's normal)
    7. After it's done, your phone should light up on recovery again, and on your terminal, it should have something like: adb failed to read command:no error.
That's normal, just reboot your phone via recovery and you are done

    MAGISK:
    1. Once your settled your phone, reboot to recovery.
    2. Hit "APPLY UPDATE", then "APPLY FROM ADB"
    3. On your PC, do the following command:

    4. Once it finishes, reboot your phone

*DIRTY FLASH (ONLY POSSIBLE IF YOU WERE ALREADY RUNNING AN OLD DERP BUILD):
    1. Via OTA (Just hit to download and wait, once download finishes, let it reboot)
    1. A) To keep Magisk, you can go to Magisk and select it to "INSTALL TO THE INACTIVE SLOT" before letting it reboot

    2. Via ADB Sideload.
    2. A) Reboot to recovery
       B) Select 'APPLY UPDATE', then "APPLY FROM ADB"
       C) On your PC, do the following command:
adb sideload *insert your derp zip package name here*
       D) Once it's done, reboot.
To keep Magisk, you will need to repeat the steps on *MAGISK* section
