I don't think you're responding to who you think you are? I haven't nitpicked anything. That was the only comment I have on this thread, I said nothing about AOD. I was more jokingly agreeing that I had those same little lines at the bottom of my display.Agreed.
Expect bugs and supply logs.
The developer knows majority of these issues, as the ROM is not official yet. It is always good to give feedback.
I just feel like you were just nitpicking the devs work, instead of attempting to contribute.
As I read " AOD is trash " . Here is the PE source they released on their github https://github.com/PixelExtended . Perhaps push some commits to help the " trash " AOD .
Alot of the time developers pull source code for ROMs and cross compile them for our device, as they are at that moment.
We are fortunate to have these devs release these ROMs for our devices that do not yet or may never support AOSP 12 .
I plan on donating, here is the donation linktaken from the OP .
flash the PixelExperience Reocery then :
you can use lawnchair alpha 4, it has a option for that in the settings, obviously you need working magisk and quick switch to get the recents to work, just sai'n, but than it works flawlessly
This rom without root
Can confirm you can upgrade from existing PE builds. Here are some photos from the device. Bluetooth worked after a cache/data wipe of the app. Probably weirdness from upgrading from 11. Working great with a pair of Buds Z. AOD fingerprint detection is still pretty hit or miss. But fingerprint and face detection all work. Everything was perfectly in place from 11. It seems it passes ssfteynet as Google Pay and Pogo work. Upgraded using the Zip and fastboot enhanced.
E:Package is for product OnePlus8T,Oneplus9R,lemonkebab but expected OnePlus8T
Unofficial builds are made by people who are not backed by the original ROM developer, Official builds are backed and supported by the original ROM developers i.e. maintainers.
Had the same problem, flashing the rom again (to have it in both slots) fixed it for me. See Post #220.
