yeah, just do it before first boot.

(i don't have a capable pc to build recovery with f2fs by default when format data)

I went to flash magisk but now twrp can't decrypt storage, did i do something wrong?

My steps:

1. wiped memory
2. flashed xdroid
3. booted - everything works
4. went back to twrp - i could access memory
5. format /data to f2fs and wipe everything again
6. booted - eveything works

but now twrp (twrp-3.6.0_9-0-perseus) or OrangeFox can't decrypt memory

How can I access the encrypted storage from recovery? I tried to remove the passcode but no results, am i using a wrong recovery?

that's normal, twrp doesn't support android 12 encryption yet

if you need to flash something, use adb sideload or flash drive instead
