so pay attention to the instructions for the flash (you can always see them in the changelog of the device)

Thank you great ROM. Switching to it as daily driver as it fixes the most annoying issues like offline charging is working as well as Google pay/ safety net. Great work

Smart charging is a waste on our device anyway. Smart charging needs hardware support which is absent on our device. The one available on our device is software based and force the battery to stop which is not good for long term.

This looks very promising, big advantage is that GPay is working. I'm having unreliable FOD and general glitches/hangups at random times in apps. My method was to flash the latest K20 Pro CN full ROM via fastboot, then install TWRP, boot to recovery and format data to remove encryption, then flash this ROM. Is there a better method to do an initial clean flash? Thanks!

Hello, thanks for your reply. I flashed MIUI CN 12.5 prior to flashing, I wiped System, Data, Dalvik and Cache, also full format to clear encrypted internal data. Is there a better way of installing this?

You need to flash MIUI 12 (A10) firmware before flashing PEX as the latest PEX requires A10 firmware.

Thank you, so would that be wiping everything in recovery, and only installing A10 firmware then PEX, or start from a stock MIUI CN 12.5, wipe everything, install A10 and then PEX?

since we are on OSS vendors, I prefer not to use OTA to avoid problems for those who are not encrypted ....
then update it manually from recovery

I did clean flash and lost the recovery. I can no longer boot to TWRP. If I boot to recovery it gets stuck on fastboot and does not let me boot unless I run Fastboot continue command. Please advise how to get my recovery back. I also tried to install recovery by booting into TWRP from fastboot and installing the twrp image. Still no Luck.

I'm quite a newbie here but it is said that this is due to the problem with the vendor of A11 stock MIUI rom. So suppose you were coming from an A11 build of the official or EU MIUI, you might have to flash the latest A10 based stock MIUI rom (via MiFlash), after which you could flash the recovery and repeat the procedure as indicated in the second post (i.e., wipe, flash the latest A10 fw, flash this rom, clean data, etc.)

P.S.: I followed the procedure mentioned above and I didn't lose my recovery. But I also had a problem with TWRP because it just didn't ask for PIN nor pattern to decrypt the data. So when I booted into TWRP the internal storage was shown as 0MB. So after that I switched the recovery to the latest OrangeFox and it is working fine now.

P.P.S.: I'm talking about the last A11 based PEX and I'm not sure if this would apply to the A12 build.

apparently, if u set ur phone only with swipe lock, the pocket mode will nullify once u accidentally touch the day/date at the lock screen..others wont open the phone, only when u touch the day/date @ calendar, it will automatically open calendar despite the phone is in the pocket..

Xiaomi quickcharge adapter that came with the phone doesn't work when you're fully booted.

It works only when the phone is off....
Ayone else expirencing this ?
