I did not find the playmarket in nikgapps, although I edited the configuration file, but it didn't help, so I installed mindthegapps, also i use f2fs for data and cache, seems all is ok

Are you facing Speech Services stopped after clean flash rom + flashing mindgapps at first boot?

Yes, I had that too.. But I haven't had any issue during device setup or Speech Services use after.

New build is up.

Is microSD card work normal in your devices? I choose format like part of phone memory or something like that and now I don't see phone memory in file explorer, just microSD card. Why? My data and cache partitions on phone is in f2fs file system if it important. Also I have magisk and mindthegapps.

My 2/16 is very smooth with Nikgapps Go version. Switched from Pixel Experience Plus A11. But do not use Magisk with this rom. Lag with Magisk.

Does magisk affect performance? And does nikgapps consume less resources than mindthegapps?
I think so. Maybe due to the 2gb ram. The PE Plus A11 rom was also laggy due to Magisk. I never try the mindthegapps but for me, the nikgapps go is smooth and consume less space vs PE plus. Most of it is the go version of app. And with the nikgapps Gcam Go, I have more than 5gbs for other thing on the 16gb phone

I tried it with Basic Nikgapps. It's a bit lag and drain ny battery faster. Too bad forgot to make a back up of my 18.1 and quickly move to 19.1 and then after the try, I use it for 3 days. It's kinda a bit lag and my battery drain faster. So I switch it back to 18.1.

I wish to report bug:
  1. Frequent location access by "Phone services" - every 5 to 15 minutes, it access location, location indicator gets lit in status bar. This is even after I have turned off location 3 days ago. Phone number lookup is also turned off on the "Phone" app which is default dialer app.
  2. Not using custom kernel, on build lineage-19.1-20220518-UNOFFICIAL-rosy.zip
  3. Using NikGapps-core-arm64-12.1-20220501-signed.zip
  4. attached permission dashboard screenshot, logcat just after issue happened.

Is this a feature for our lord and saviour zucc?

It's a known ROM side issue https://gitlab.com/LineageOS/issues/android/-/issues/4674 Location indicators from phone services were fixed, but (apparently) some users are still experiencing it (Not me)
I can see the fix is merged upstream: https://github.com/LineageOS/androi...rameworks/base/core/res/res/values/config.xml

I was not able to find the corresponding change in your repo: https://github.com/baunilla/android_device_xiaomi_rosy

Not sure if I'm looking at wrong file.

Thanks @burchik.v for testing ;)
Thanks. I update every build you created. For my 2/16, it runs smoothly enough with NikGapps Go. However, it lags significantly when installing Magisk. I saw somewhere in XDA the Zram can improve low ram devices. Do you integrate Zram to this ROM? Do you think this file is good for Rosy? https://www.xda-developers.com/android-oreo-android-go-low-ram-patcher/

    • Upgraded UCE Service HAL to v2.3
    • Updated GPS configs from CAF
    • Droped Camera HALv1 (deprecated)
    • Fixed QCRIL sepolicy label
Build was re-uploaded to fix broken app-launch boost. Unfortunatelly, if you've already updated to 20220610 will have to flash it manually. The OTA update will NOT show up because the internal build date is the same from June 10th - Although the ROM name is now 20220612.

Hello, what motivates you to keep updating?
    Well, device still works :ROFLMAO:

And why don't you post them on the official LineageOS website, where users make them?
Sorry not interested - It's a 5y old device. And makes no difference to me, official or not the result would be the same.

    @baunilla why u not use f2fs 4 all partitions?
Non-standard. If the system wants to be read-only in ext4 partitions let it be ;)

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 12, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
