Actually I haven't inserted any sim card yet. I've been using this phone as a test device for now. I would start using it as my daily driver if I didn't find any issues.

I'm using PE11+ which is way better in my opinion and i recommend it If you haven't tried yet. I hate this android 12 waste of space everywhere and generally bad UI. If you make UI smaller i think it looks pretty dope.

View attachment 5635991what helped in my case was really to kill all data and cache with Google play service. Restart. Pretty well battery drain since then.

...well...for 3 days now, it's back again and worse than ever. Just doint a complete system reset. damn

How to block them?

I blocked them using Adaway just by adding these addreses to the block list but if you want you can block them manually by editing hosts file in /system/etc/hosts. For full instruction just google "how to edit hosts file android"

Same problem every month: a few days before the update, the google play service starts draining the battery and after the update it's fine again. By the way, the three adaway blockers don't help at all. Clearing cache and data and then rebooting doesn't help either. Does anyone else have an idea? I`m using plus version.

Would not have thought it was update related. Well, there we go then. I updated to plus, whole install process etc. Nothing works.

I'm using this ROM with May build for more than 15 days now... However, in the past two days I have observed heavy battery drain with Google Play Services being used approximately 22% in past 24 hours

• Fixed location indicator showing when no apps running

Maybe I found the solution to the battery problem through Google Play Services: I disabled all Google apps including Wellbeiing from accessing usage data and since then the Play Service app has been behaving normally.

This won't work long-term. As per my experience install vantom kernal and battery issues is resolved. Been using it for last 1 month and it works
