The System Partition is too small, so some GAPPs are removed.
Some GAPPs related functions might not work.
You might want to flash another GAPPS package to complete them.

[ ! ] Sorry, but this build has only reduced version, there are still some difficulties working with the GAPPS.

- 2 variants available: REDUCED for minimized GAPPS and FULL for more complete GAPPS.
- To disable the "AOSP Messaging" on reduced builds: HERE.

My Pixel 2 XL's power key is half way broken and difficult to use, I looked on XDA for an Android 12 ROM with customizations to wake-up by volume keys and double-tap to lock, but there was no such ROM yet... Then I build this with Pixel Experience's trees

Here I encountered a problem that "adb sideload" in TWRP will stuck and is not working, that's why I uploaded the magisk patched boot image. I'm not sure if that's because of the TWRP's problem or my phone's (since it has some issues with the USB port), could you please test the ADB Sideload and see if it works?

If that's the TWRP's problem, I'll also build another recovery and see if I can fix that. (installing updates will be terribly complicated on Android 12 without ADB Sideload, since TWRP cannot decrypt userdata...)

OK. Then that's my phone's problem, not a big deal for me though (since I have the system, boot, dtbo and vendor images to flash directly with Fastboot or "dd" command)

Document UI > the 3 dots on top-right corner > "show internal storage"

This is how Pixel Launcher designed. The switch for "at a glance" is only to hide the weather, events, etc. information under the date, turning it off won't hide the whole widget.

If you want to hide that entirely, try Lawnchair 12 alpha.

Guess I'll just have to bite the bullet since kdrag0n's theming engine only works with Pixel Launcher. Also, ArrowOS 12 has the ability to hide the "at a glance" widget.

No. The rom doesn't have full gapps.

We have no enough space in the System partition for full GAPPS. By default Evolution X 6.0 requires 3.5GB of space, while Pixel 2 XL has only 2.6GB system partitions.

I've extended my System partition to 4 GB, but while installing Gapps it says as no space left.
Can anything be done in such case?

It's never suggested to resize system partition, especially on a Pixel without ability to restore via EDL. Just install the apps you want from Google Play, instead of flashing a full gapps package.
