sorry I have no idea... this is a Bare rom it's not really meant to have all the features of the full romI'm having 1 issue in this rom. Private Internet Access doesn't turn on. Its supposed to pop open a window the first time asking if i wish to allow it to work. But that window doesn't open. Anyone have a work around to get the app to work?
Ok, the reason I was using this rom, was because its the only one I can get Pokemon GO and Mario Run working on.sorry I have no idea... this is a Bare rom it's not really meant to have all the features of the full rom
you can try the Nexus_XT or CleanRom and see if they have the features your looking for
did you try the unrooted Stripped stock rom ?Ok, the reason I was using this rom, was because its the only one I can get Pokemon GO and Mario Run working on.![]()
I can't get that one to install. Once I begin installing it gets to "Extracting apps" and then the phone reboots back into twrpdid you try the unrooted Stripped stock rom ?

Yes you need B160 firmware to flash romsAfter rooting and installing this ROM, my battery life has decreased significantly. I am not sure if the cause was installing this ROM or rooting. The performance is much better though. I tried an app called Battery Calibration, but that did not help. I saw at least one other person having battery issues on this thread. I am using B150 built. Would updating the built to B160 help?
Thanks for the reply, but you can flash using the B150 firmware. Please see the beginning of this thread. There are two versions for this ROM, B150 and B160.Yes you need B160 firmware to flash roms

Their are plenty of battery apps and file manager on the play store try one of those. This is working really nice.
The only thing I would add to the ROM is a small simple file manager. That way you could get started side loading apks from the SD card.
Can anyone help me to identify the missing stock Huawei "Battery Manager" app? It was under the advanced setting in the stock ROM. If I could get the name of it maybe I could rob a copy off my other phone and install in this ROM.
Yes, I understand that.Their are plenty of battery apps and file manager on the play store try one of those.
If you don't use Google play theirs apkmirror and apkpure websites.

Most likely it's part of the phone manager app.Yes, I understand that.
I would like to use the stock battery app if I could.
I'm sure I can get it from one of the other phones I have that are stock but I just need to understand what files are now missing.
I would hope my question is not asking too much of someone.
Again I'm not asking to have the app included in the ROM, I just want information about it so I can attempt to get it running on my phone.
In order to get the battery info when I was on this rom, I had to copy the huawei system manager app. This is the path to get to it, it's in the root folder, "/system/priv-app/HwSystemManager". I copied all the files in that folder to my sdcard and pasted them after installing the rom. Also, you might need to fix the permissions after pasting the files, at least I did. Hope this helps and that it is what you are looking for.Yes, I understand that.

Did you go in each folder like the "lib", "oat", "arm64", "arm" and change the permissions for each file in those folders, just making sure. Also, the permissions for the files and folders are different. Folders are drwxr-xr-x or 7-5-5 and files are rw-r-r or 6-4-4. If that didn't work, than I don't know what else it could be. That's all I did and it worked for me.THANK YOU!!
This is the info I was looking for.
I did as you said and copied over the "HwSystemManager" folder and changed every permission on every file but... It didn't seem to work.
I rebooted the phone and I still don't have the battery app under settings and the Phone Manager app in the drawer doesn't open, it just pops up and closes.
Where there other files I needed to copy over also?
I just rechecked everything. Every folder, and each and every file in every folder are all set just the same as the stock phone I got the files from. The folder are set to 7-5-5 which it says is rwxr-xr-x, I think you may be mistaken when you said "drwxr-xr", but other than that I have everything set just as you said.Did you go in each folder like the "lib", "oat", "arm64", "arm" and change the permissions for each file in those folders, just making sure.
