My first time trying to update I didn't swipe the allow system modification (Kept it read only) but I did mount System, Cust, and Data. Second time I did swipe and triple checked they where mounted. Third time TWRP started restarting my phone over and over and over. So I had to shut down and reload it up and flash again. The last time I wiped everything so I wouldn't have a system, cust or data and that seemed to be the trick getting it to update from b140 to b150.
u know before his guide although it didnt update firmware i was able to use the ota modified to flash in twrp and it upgraded me to stock unrooted b140 just firmware was still b130 wish i made a backup of it the b140 for those people who wanted it xd then i would of had b130 stock b140 stock and the b150 stock no root xd

TWRP only flashes like that when system cust and data are not mounted.

That's precisely why it's in the instructions 3 times

OK so.... (Bare_Naked Rom vs Stripped_Stock B150 Rom ) do they have the same performance and one is just rooted while the other is not? Or does the rooted rom (Bare_Naked) have tweaks and stuff that require root to achieve better performance?

I'm leaning towards trying Stripped_Stock B150 Rom first but if Bare_Naked Rom has better performance or something I'd rather start there.

Bare_Naked actually has no Zram (Swap file) and is a bit faster

I'm uploading B160.Stripped.Stock.Rom Now !!

I flashed this ROM on B160 without doing a factory reset. But I think it did not go well, I still see most of the ATT apps. When flashing, TWRP gave many errors about /data partition, not sure if that messed up the installation?

Yes you'll need to Format Data befor flashing this Rom if your coming from B160_Full_Update

Their are 2 AT&T apps left in this Rom

Thanks man. I will try it today and report back..

Edit: I just tried it again and doesn'nt looks like the ROM is flashing. Except for the /data mount errors, everything else was good on TWRP. But nothing seems to be flashing, even the factory reset did not happen. Did I miss anything?

Edit2: I tried to mount the data partition in TWRP, but it wont get selected.

Damn! Just tried that and now I am in a bootloop! What did I mess up?

EDIT: That was close, I thought I messed up real bad! But now it looks good.

I did the format data then typing yes and then reboot but got into a bootloop!
Booted in TWRP again, was not able to mount the data partition again. Tried the format data again and then factory reset, did not get any /data mount errors.

Flashed the stripped stock and this time no /data error came up. Wiped cache/dalvik and rebooted, everything went good.

Looks like the data partition was having some issues on my phone, not sure why though!

theirs no need to factory reset
just format data / flash rom / reboot should have worked

Okay thanks for the follow up..

I still see saw some of the att apps (games, device help, setup&transfer, smart limits, visual vm) which I disabled. But some of the att apps and even google apps cannot be disabled (usage manager, google+, duo, gmail). Do I have to root to remove them? Also, will this ROM get OTA updates from att?

The phone won't flash any OTA updates from AT&T with an unlocked bootloader

If your looking for a completely stripped rom Try bare naked
If you want to debloat this rom further you'll need a Root Browser and Root

Oh yes, I forgot that the unlocked bootloader will not get any updates from att.

Okay, I will try the bare naked now. Is it unrooted if I dont flash supersu with it? I want to keep the phone unrooted as far as possible.
